GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. First - they will not tell you that they offer a veteran discount. So once you book and pay and then arrive and ask about it. Their reply, "Well now you know, so next time ask for it before you pay". Second - make sure you ask for your after hours code to get back in. Or you will do like us and sit at the gate waiting to get back in. Luckily a fellow camper pulled up after us and we asked him, he explained that the office should have given a code for the front gate. He gave... Read More

Luckily a fellow camper pulled up after us and we asked him, he explained that the office should have given a code for the front gate. He gave us his until the next day that we could go back to the office and ask. Third - you will wait FOREVER in the office while the ladies answer the phone. Obviously don't realize that you have paying customers right in front of you while you answer phone call after phone call. Fourth - Space is a joke. Your awning will almost be on your neighbors slide out. And the mud after it rains even a slight drizzle with help to keep everything nice and dirty for you. Fifth - if you come during the week, the pool that you paid for with your reserved rv spot will be overcrowded with day visitors that are not here to camp but just to swim. So you will not get a table or bench to sit at. Sixth - the food stand is absolutely the slowest place to order anything. You will take roughly 10 minutes to order a snowball and then wait roughly 20 minutes to have that snowball show up at the window. Seventh - they post rules, but only enforce some. Noise is ridiculous over here but granted that is the lack of respect from fellow campers after hours. Eight - if you go to the bar and order an overpriced drink. You will pay $18.00 for a Tropicajun drink (good drink) but if you walk outside the gate that is ten feet away to go smoke next to their smoke can with your drink they will make you throw it away as soon as you come back into the pool / bar area with the excuse that you can't bring that drink back in even though you bought the drink from them. Also they are some of the must rude unprofessional people you will meet. ATTITUDE all the way around. Ninth - as a disabled veteran I would have liked to park at the pool gate so I would not have to walk with the disabilities that I have but guess what. One rule they do not enforce is, who parks in the minimum handicap parking spots they have. Even though these spots are not next to the entrance of the pool area. They are still not available to the people that have legal placards to use them. Tenth - RUDE RUDE RUDE. Most people like to go camping to enjoy themselves and kick back and have a good time but this place is ridiculous. Nothing is about the customer. Spend your money somewhere else.

Love this place.

The sites are SMALL, only concrete is under unit when parked, have to walk in mud to get from camper to road. Pool area is nice. Sites are narrow and close together. NOT A WELL DESIGNED CAMPGROUND!!!!!!!

This is a nice RV park located near the town of New Iberia, LA. They have large concrete sites, a mix of pull thru and pull-in/back-in, and asphalt driveways. They offer full hookups and very good free Wi-Fi. The pricing is very reasonable and they offer a Passport America discount Sunday through Wednesday. If I had a suggestion, it would be nice to include a patio slab attached to the site. The site pad is narrow so you must step off into the grass in order to walk around your RV. Oddly enough,... Oddly enough, when we were there the park was only about 5% to 10% occupied. Most parks we go to are more like 80% - 90% occupied. This park has a very nice large pool and "clubhouse". Bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. We would certainly stay here again.

A new facility, still have a few kinks to work out. Bath house was small for the amount of lots and not centrally located. The lots were concrete and level. There are no patios and the picnic tables were weathered. A lot of grass, nice and quiet. No set dog area. Great lighting at the post for late night hook up. No cable and no real camp store. The pool area was nice. I can see this will become a great place to come.

Great campground for the kids. My son loved the pool and lazy river. There was also a DJ and bands the entire weekend. The sites are a little close together but we did not stay at our site for long.

Great place to stay for a few days. Close to the Tabasco Factory if you want to tour. The swimming pool and float stream are excellent. Plenty of space to park. Highly recommended.
