Torrey’s RV Park is the perfect base for exploring Stanley and Salmon-Challis! The park has 10 sites surrounded by high desert foothills and the beautiful Salmon River along the back. The sites are spacious, level, and are in a grassy open field perfect for Starlink (even though the park is equipped with Starlink in case you don’t have it.) Our 44ft fifth wheel toy hauler had plenty of room in site 10 which is the only 50amp. (The temps were mild enough though that we could have certainly gotten... Read More

Our 44ft fifth wheel toy hauler had plenty of room in site 10 which is the only 50amp. (The temps were mild enough though that we could have certainly gotten by in our big rig with 30A). They all have a picnic table and fire ring. The gracious and hardworking owner, Ann offered us one of the sites along the river as she said site 10 was right along the road and would have some road noise. However, it didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed watching her beautiful horses across the road and the daytime shade afforded by that site’s orientation. I sat barefoot outside most mornings with my coffee, just taking it all in.
It was our first time visiting the area and we were so happy with our decision to base ourselves here. Not only is Stanley teeming with tourists this time of year, but there is just as much beauty to see north of the property. We spent time visiting the Salmon-Challis National Forest - Bayhorse ghost town, Bison Jump (which is sort of eerie), and stunning Goldbug Hot Springs (the latter is not to be missed). 10-12 minutes from Torrey’s is Sunbeam Hot Springs which is the perfect ending to any day in the area. Also, during the summer, Redfish Lake Lodge hosts live music by the lake each Wed, Fri and Sun which we really enjoyed!
We loved meeting Ann and are grateful for her hospitality! You’ll love staying with her!

Totally enjoyed this small park. It is set on a bluff overlooking the Salmon River. The owner is very friendly and there is tons of open ground between spaces
