STAY AWAY. When we got there, no check in. Went to site assigned at reservations but it was taken. Called number on site, no one answered. After a long day of travel, I just roamed the campsite to find someone. After 30 minutes, A gentleman told us to just park anywhere and we did. Large poop on not only our site but others. Managers Dogs run free. Scared our dog and my husband had to carry our 40 lbs dog back. Not good with congestive heart disease and a long day on the road. Called number again and manager answered. Said I was lucky only small dog was out and about without a leash and big dog was not. What kind of place let's dogs wander around pooping everywhere and interacting with leashed dogs. How unsafe and unsanitary. I heard this is common for this manager/ place. Additionally, very, very noisy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There are other places on 75 that are much nicer.

Stayed at Forest Glen RV Park in Jackson, GA for 1 night on Tuesday and so glad it was for only 1 night. Land clearing was happening right next to this location from 7am to 8pm with loud large equipment. Went to take my dog for a walk and as soon as we got on the paved road we were met with 2 extremely large dogs over 120 lbs each (my dog is always leashed). Very very scary. No owners in site. They followed us wherever we went. Was told by a few people they were the owners dogs. Office was closed. Needless to say we only took him out twice during our stay. Loud music being played by neighbor, they appeared to be a full-timer as they had a porch attached to the camper. On a side note the bathroom and showers were clean. Personally I would not stay again because of the large dogs running around freely.

This is a very nice park. Roomy, with good gravel sites. Ours was a pull-through with 50 amp service (needed in the GA heat) and full hook-up. Management was very courteous and helpful. Our site was plenty large, and there is a large area to walk your dog. There were only two negatives: the road noise, which is substantial and constant, and the WiFi service is poor. The noise didn’t bother us as long as we were inside, since we were runnng the air conditioners. If we stay there in winter, we’ll bring a sound machine, and listen to the tide roll in. We were there for a full week, and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at 3 different RV Parks this week, and all 3 had their advantages and disadvantages. Making a reservation was easy. Only problem is no email confirmation. When we arrived everybody was very friendly. They said to call any time as they both lived on premises. Pointed to an area and said pick a spot. We chose one that afforded the best combination of shade and level. So, the spots are paved but not very level. Our Class A does not have hydraulic levelers so we pointed nose down a little for two nights. Not enough to effect our sleep. The spot came with 20/30/50 amp service, H2O, and sewer. No cable, no wifi, wifi was available in the clubhouse in the evenings but would not reach the RVs. There is a very large field for kids to play on, and a nice size swimming pool. Nothing is within walking range. We stayed 2 nights because of hurricane Hermine. However, I would not hesitate to stay here again. For us it would be a great place to stay for one night coming from, or going to home.

We weren't sure what this park would be like because the price was low, but we didn't have a lot of other RV parks to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised. The owners were friendly, and the sites pretty basic, but adequate. The laundromat was excellent. The pool was closed because we were in the off-season. The nearby highway traffic was constant. We were about 45 minutes from Savannah, which was a great city to visit - several times!
