Stopped in at this campground for an overnight stay. I now cannot believe that anyone would consider this park as a big rig park. The roads, while paved, were very narrow. I constantly had one side or the other off the pavement. The park is organized as different parallel roads. Sites are setup as different distances down road. I was assigned the second spot on my road. The site was so tight that I could not drive out. I was fortunate, the couple ahead of me on the road was also leaving the next morning, so I got to wait for them to leave so I could continue on my trip. I would suggest that people consider other parks in the area. I am also very disappointed in Good Sam because in my opinion this park is not big rig friendly

This was just an overnight stop so we aren’t being particularly picky, but still... the rates are outrageous for what you get. This is not a typical campground, it’s basically a place where you can get off the road, put out your slides and spend the night. Overnight guests are parked in single file rows which is an odd arrangement we’ve never run into before. Your site is basically a narrow paved drive with a rig in front of you and another rig pulled in behind you, and a very skinny patch of grass (perhaps 3 or 4 feet I’m guessing) between you and the row of rigs beside you. There is cable and WiFi, although we didn’t need either, and a picnic table. There is also a pool but we didn’t walk over to check it out so I have no feedback on it. We had 1 bar on Verizon and 2 bars on AT&T. There is a friendly staff and you are escorted to you spot in the line. It’s okay for an overnight stop but we won’t return.

We stayed just one night, and it was just ok. You would think for the price it would have had a bit more pizazz. One night stay was $55, $49.50 GS discount, over $15 higher than last year price on website($39.50, $10 more with discount). This was the most expensive place we've stayed during our travels so far (TX, LA, MS, GA, SC and FL) and by far the least appealing. We have stayed at some very nice places.. We didn't use the restroom and the office is being remodeled, due to new owners in Jan which is acceptable, so we didn't include in our review. The sites were basically a strip of asphalt, and you pulled in behind other campers, each "site" had an "exit", and were on the small side, but not intrusive. It worked, just not what we were accustomed to seeing. The lady at checkin was very nice and helpful, she apologized for the office "mess", even though it wasn't necessary. She also provided restaurant info and mentioned a pizza place would deliver to the campground if we so desired.

Warning fellow campers about site F5. There is a Dead Tree on this site and a branch fell on to the roof of my camper. Also, the site is very hilly on the (door side) of your camper, so there is no need to put out your awning as your not able to sit out side and enjoy your camp site. Also, the campground is laid out in (6) strait lines with campers in front and behind you and next to you. So you have to pray that the folks in front, behind and next to you are considerate campers. Well again I was not lucky the camper beside me had two dogs one a full grown pit bull and a baby pit bull both of which deposited their business all over my site. The person in front of me has a toy hauler and would load all kinds of stuff in the back of it every night, such as file cabinets, rolling tool boxes, machine parts. I think it was a rolling flea market on wheels. The animals at the campsite are great! The pool looks great as well but I was camping by myself and was out most days with friends that live in the area. I hope you find my comments helpful.

Great for an overnight stay in our DP MH. There are some storage units, some long-term sites, even tent sites here. There is a small aviary with several large parrots, as well as an animal enclosure with donkeys, goats, emu (that's all I saw). It is a little tricky to get the correct turn off Hwy. 441, pay attention to your directions or be prepared to turn around. The park is just off the Turnpike and the highway noise is noticeable if your windows are open. All the over-nighters park in rows, one behind the other, on gravel/old pavement. If you leave before the one in front of you, you have to drive over the median. This is a well-kept park, easy enough off the interstate, with 50 amp FHUs. We would definitely stay here again!

We used this for an overnight. Full hookup plus cable for $40. Kind of like Pilot/Flying J with hookups and no trucks. Campground is clean and appears well maintained.

Friendly Staff, staff leads you to assigned area w/golf cart & will assist w/hookups, if you need/want help - Overnighters are in one area lined up in rows. It has all the basics. It is located next to I-75 so road noise is present, restroom (near overnighter area) is functional but dated. Did hear the animals but too cold to walk the grounds.

This is a good overnight stay with full facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Escorts guide you to the campsite and assist you with connections. Bathrooms are clean and functional. This is basically a working farm with animals. Being located in the south fire ants are on the grounds but no more than the norm and they work to control them. Children should be instructed to avoid any fire ant mounds upon arrival. I did not find them to be a problem as they were few and far between.

My wife and I stayed at Travelers Campground on 10-30-15. The Hosts were friendly, the park is clean. They are pet friendly as advertised. The over-nighters area is good for just that an over-night. We stopped there to visit our sister and her husband and our new nephew. The site was over-run with fire-ants. Perhaps the longer term areas would receive a better rating but not for overnight. We had registered for two nights stay but ended up leaving after one and leaving the fee as a lesson learned.
