We stayed for an overnight in a motorhome with a tow. The staff was very friendly. This small campground was very clean and the roads are easy to maneuver. The pull through site was very wide and long. The water pressure, cable and electric was adequate. The only negative was the train horn that blasted very frequent during the night. Others said they got used to it since they stayed longer.

We stayed three days in the off season and park was almost empty. The park is a 55+ park and that is something we look for. The park had some permanent residents and they were welcoming and friendly. The park staff provided us a 3 or 4 page list of things to do, day trips in the area, this was extremely helpful. TV and WiFi Internet was provided and worked great. We had the pool to our self every day all day long. The laundry, bathroom, and shower facilities were real nice. The spaces were big... Read More

They had a general purpose room with books and games but we did not use that. There was a large dog walk at the edge of the park, it was mostly sand but then again we are in the desert. The park also had a catch and release pond, actually three separate ponds, this was extremely nice the only draw back is no dogs allowed near the ponds. We would stay here again.

I would stay again

We stayed here for a month. The site was large, had cable and adequate WIFI. The park has a nice pool, hot tub and laundry room. It is 45 miles from Tucson and 23 miles from Tombstone. Benson has several decent restaurants and a Wal Mart. The park management is excellent and the clubhouse and grounds were very nice. We did not use the bathrooms. There are several ponds with catch and release fishing. The only negative was the passing trains 24/7. I would stay here again. The monthly rate was very... Read More

Stayed there as a snowbird from Texas, for more than a month. Staff had an event every night and most weekends. Restrooms were cleaned everyday, and sometimes twice. Any discrepancy reported was corrected immediately. Manager and owner on site, and responsive to clients needs.

This is an adult only park. Most of the sites appear to be permanent homes. The pool and small lakes around the clubhouse are very nice. The showers and laundry facilities were clean and well maintained. The only issue I have with this park is the website. The website is very deceiving. The park isn't as upscale as it looks online.

We are wanderers. Since we hit the open road four years ago, we haven't stayed in one place for more than two months. We only spent one week here, but we felt like part of the community. If we ever decide to stop traveling, I think this will be where we settle. Now for the basics: There's a short paved road in the campground which has some potholes. Most of the roads are well-maintained gravel and dirt. The sites are roomy, level, and gravel & dirt. There's a picnic table but no fire ring.... Read More

If we ever decide to stop traveling, I think this will be where we settle. Now for the basics: There's a short paved road in the campground which has some potholes. Most of the roads are well-maintained gravel and dirt. The sites are roomy, level, and gravel & dirt. There's a picnic table but no fire ring. Some of the sites have trees. All of the buildings are clean. The laundry has four washers ($1.25) and four dryers ($1.00 for 60 minutes). The campground has lots of activities, including water aerobics. The clubhouse is nice and has an area that has a computer which is available for your use, a book exchange, and a comfortable sofa to sit and read or converse with another guest. We were there on Halloween and attended the party. We had a wonderful time. There was a band and dancing and everyone brought snacks to share. The best part though is that everyone treats you like you've been friends for years. Tip: Although Tombstone has touristy things like gunfight reenactments, it also emphasizes its true history. We thought we'd spend a couple of hours there, we ended up spending the whole day and going back once more.

Being our third or fourth visit, just as great as our first. The staff is great, place is great. Any help needed completed without a problem. would we stay here for a base camp again for our southern Arizona day trip adventures? You bet! Thanks to all staff, including the behind the scenes stuff for making another trip enjoyable.

This is the finest park that we have had the pleasure to stay in. The Mgr is a very friendly lady and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. It is very clean park and located close to the East end of town but very easy to go to. Our sight was a back end very large with a cement pad. The sight was large and had a lot of room. Everyone should enjoy this park as we did..
