Found park to be nothing like advertised. Mostly flooded, small, no facilities camp ground. Only stayed because it was the end of very long day. One night only. I would not recommend this camp ground.

Campground divided into two parts with the newer portion having pull- thru 30/50 amp full hookup (including cable)sites. Restrooms are in the older area and are outdated, dirty and may not even function properly. There are no restrooms in the new area. The laundry is locked and all the machines are disconnected and sitting in the middle of the room. At one time the Entertainment Center housed an old barn for country music afficianados and the `Barn Dance' was the third longest-running country music radio show, nearly as popular as the Grand Old Opry. There is a new barn that houses occasional shows. While we were there, Chubby Checker gave a concert. Many of their concerts are sold out. There is a village housing many little shops (most of which are closed now) surrounding the Barn. It must have been a great place to visit when in its heyday. Not a bad place for an overnight and for show-goers. Would not return.

We stopped here for two nights for some R&R during a cross country trip. On the positives: we were greeted with a very friendly check-in, level gravel pull through, cable and Wi-fi, and a quiet setting with an abundance of areas to walk the dog. The morning fog on the mountains was quiet charming. There is an old historic barn with music on the weekends (we stopped during the week) and a recreation of a historic village. We found a gift shop and chocolate shop open but everything else was closed.... Read More

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Spent the weekend camping at Renfro Valley, KY. Attended great music concert... but..that's about all that was good. The small shops are closed and up for rent. The grounds are becoming weed covered. There were busted and rotting picnic tables. Had a flash flood that resulted in 4" of water around the RV. Cable TV had about 6 clear channels, all others were fuzzy - and came from Knoxville, TN. My advice, look elsewhere.
