We have stayed at Black Rock a fewtimes as a stopover on our travels betyween CA to AZ . The pull through sites are nice and big and easy to maneuver. The rates are very reasonable and there is a great little restaurant with home cooked meals on site. The only knock on this place is the roads and sites are not paved - all gravel. The campground trys hard to keep the dust down by watering the roads, but it is still pretty dusty with all the ATV traffic. They have a nice little pickleball facility... Read More

We would stay here again for short stays.

Very nice campground overall, with spacious sites, great laundry facilities, excellent customer service, an exceptional "on site" restaurant, and access to lots of ATV trails. The two "negatives" for us was that there was no wifi available at each site, (just at four specific locations on site - the restaurant, front office, and two meeting place facilities). There were also no picnic tables at each site. This RV site is very much aimed at catering to longer term "snow bird" type retirees, and... Read More

This was an unexpected find. Nice roomy RV pull-through. Beautiful pool. Quiet at night. We were there for a one-night stay and didn't use laundry or restrooms. Place looked clean and well-appointed. One of the things we really appreciated was a rule that no flags other than US, state, or sports teams could be flown. We wish more parks would adopt this rule!
The park is great, but the great state of Arizona apparently doesn't want out of state atv riders. You have to buy an out of state sticker to ride here, which I understand, but there is no where to buy one in person.you have to buy on line and have it sent to your home address. From there I don't know how I am able to put it on my atv which is here in arozona with me.Needless to say, we won't be back.
This is a great park. We especially enjoyed the HUGE pull thru sites!
We stayed here only one night. It was a stop on our cross country trip. It is convenient to the interstate. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. There was a man to lead us to our site. The sites are gravel, but cacti gave each sute a unique look. The park is clean and well kept.
We stayed here for four months. The sites are large (40x50), gravel and dirt. There's no table or fire ring, and no shade. You can have a barbecue grill, both gas and charcoal, but there are quite a few days that are so windy, it wouldn't be advisable. There's a strong community feel about this campground, and as newcomers we were made welcome and accepted as part of the community. We felt so "at home" that we made reservations to return next year, which is a rarity for us.
