The campground is, how shall I say it, rustic. But at $22.00 a night, I'm not complaining. One could write and read negative reviews about the campground, but then I would ask, "Why was it full, even during three very windy and cold nights in April? Fishing in/on Truman Lake is the draw here. I enjoyed walking through the town, there's quite a bit of interesting history explained on signs in the town. Bought some fuses at the auto store in town. Friendly folks. Becaues of the water, birds abound.... Read More

It was a little snug getting in and you had to hit it right because there wasn't much maneuverability due to a tree across the road in our path. There were... Read More

There were a lot of old campers stored on the property near the clubhouse and camphost area. Looked a little dumpy. It was a weekend campout for us and since it was over 4th of July we did enjoy the city fireworks show that we could see from the campground. Don't think we'll go back.
