We had reservations for here for September 4 and 5, 2023 This is a very sad choice of a campground. It is an old mobile home park. No picnic table, no fire ring! How are you supposed to cook your meal? Located in the middle of the town, noisy area. Nothing about it is appealing. The only redeeming item is that the bathrooms are clean. Made reservations for two nights, tried to get a refund but they said “we paid on line so we are locked in”. We will be forfeiting our $50 for the second night... Read More

The dear woman who runs the campground is the best. We lost our phone but didn’t notice until we were 4 hours away. It fell out of our truck at a nearby gas station. She went to the gas station and picked it up and mailed it to us. That kind gesture saved us an entire day of travel., and at least a whole tank of gas. It was a huge blessing and kindness to strangers. Btw. We slept well and the campground was good. Highly recommend.

Sites were gravel but not level, close together, near Little Big Horn, office is dark and unorganized. Ice Cream social each night. Would not honor good Sam discount - stated she was leaving them at end of year. Restrooms were like a cargo container. Wifi was okay. close to good diesel gas $ station

Grandview was a late day choice after visiting Little Big Horn Battlefield. It was in the right place and right time. Bath/shower house was best we've seen! Sites were far enough apart. Liked the covered picnic tables at each site too.. We would stay there again.

On the highway with a lot of highway noise. The front office staff were friendly but disorganized. The main reason I selected this camp was because it stated “enclosed dog run”. This was non-existent, as was much room to even walk your dog. The saving grace was a community area across the street, with green space and walking trails. Overall, not a good value for the money.

The Office was cluttered & dark and unattended when we arrived. We found our paperwork on the desk so proceeded to park in our appointed site. The grounds are not fancy but nice & weed free, our site was rocky gravel no grass and would have been crowded had a guest wanting a "dry campsite" came in while we were there. There are grassy sites so If a guest wants a site with grass they should make the request when making the reservation. After we leaving management called to notify us that we had... Read More

After we leaving management called to notify us that we had left my Walking Stick and asked if they could send it to our home. The Walking Stick carried many collected Medallions I had collected through the years of Parks and special sights we had visited. We were so thankful the management took the Walking Stick to Billings and had it shipped to our home as soon as they were able to get up to Billings. We would recommend the Campground even though it is not as fancy as some and would definitely recommend The 3 Brothers Pizza restaurant! A special THANKS for returning my Walking Stick!

This park is the closest one to the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Most of the campers who visit the battlefield camp here. The staff are like family. While we were here a couple had a medical emergency and one had to be taken from the local hospital to one in Billings. That left his spouse floundering. The owners took it upon themselves to take her to her husband’s side and bring them both back when he was released. Even without the love and caring from the staff, this is a great... Read More

It’s quiet, clean and friendly. The laundry facilities are clean, modern and convenient. The town is within walking distance. We walked to the Dairy Queen one day. Even with town so close, the park is quiet and peaceful. While we were here, they had an ice cream social every evening at 7:30. That’s another place to chat with neighbors or other campers you saw at the National Monument. We didn’t use the bathrooms or showers, as we use our own. But, as the rest of the park is spotless, it stands to reason they are, too. This is THE place to stay when you visit Little Bighorn Battlefield.

Buyer Be Aware: How do you pick an RV Campground? I read reviews, look at photos, look at the layout, check out Google Earth. Make Reservations well in advance if it looks reasonable. But be aware that these people are going to fill every square inch of the Campground with RVs. Yes, on paper there is a nice grass strip with a picnic table between you and the trailer next to you......at least that what you think you paid for.....but they moved the picnic table and parked a trailer in that... Yes, on paper there is a nice grass strip with a picnic table between you and the trailer next to you......at least that what you think you paid for.....but they moved the picnic table and parked a trailer in that space. They did this all over their campground, almost doubling the number of RVs there. So just beware, it is tighter than a WalMart parking lot. They were not very nice about it. Greed is a sin.

I agree with the other reviews. I booked this place by calling hoping to get the Good Sam discount. I don't think I did. The owner insisted that I not pay through the online payment system but write a check or pay cash. I arrived to find that she raised the price of my stay even though I had reserved a lower rate. Claimed because it was hot she had to raise rates even though I should have had a contract. Then I was placed in the most expensive site type and the living area of my outside was literally... Then I was placed in the most expensive site type and the living area of my outside was literally 6 feet from the back wall of the laundry/bath house. No picnic table or enough room to sit outside unless I wanted to stare at the side of a metal building. Also lots of areas that are a total mess very unkept.

This park used to be a mobile home park - all the mobile homes are not gone. When I checked in I presented my Good Sam card. The person that checked me in told me since I had made reservation online that she couldn’t go back and amend the reservation. I advised there was no where online for me to enter Good Sam info. She advised that it said promo code. I went back to the website and pretended to make a new reservation and no where does it indicate promo code. We had a super pull through site.... Read More

The campground was ok, level sites... The owner gave us a great spot. All the reviews below have something about the store which was still in shambles due to a fire, so completely understandable. The bathrooms were ok, the issue was the laundry facility. Offsite families from the trailer park (which is the grandview) came to do their laundry. This is the only campground we felt like we needed to lock everything up.

You should also be aware that I had my tire chocks stolen during the night which I now have to replace??? Consequently I am not a Happy Camper at least with this campground!

This could be a really nice park with a little more TLC. Office / gift shop is a disaster and needs to be cleaned up. Owner complains too much and it was uncomfortable. Owner originally assigned us a pull-through in the middle of the park next to the laundry with minimal grass and no trees. Because we like more privacy, we asked to move. She was most accommodating and told us to pick our spot. We chose #8 which was a large corner back-in with lots of grass on both sides of the RV, and some afternoon... Read More

The people were friendly and accommodating. Spaces were roomy. They had lots of flowers to spruce up the facilities. Even though on a highway, the noise was not bad. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area. They are very close to Little Big Horn Battlefield and reasonable distance to some other attractions. They have a nice gift shop, laundry facilities, and some full hookups that are pretty level even though gravel. Would return if even in this area again.

I had a wonderful time visiting the area and I do plan to return. Owner is a most friendly and accommodating owner who routinely keeps the campground office open quite late most evenings. The campground is clean, spacious, affordable and close to many of the area's attractions. Dogs, cats and birds are most welcome here. Closest campground to the Hardin Museum, Crow Fair/Rodeo, Custer/Little Big Horn Battlefield, Pompey's Pillar and Yellowtail Dam Recreation area.

The staff was welcoming and lovely. They recently had a fire so the gift shop/office was in bad shape but they seemed to be working with a tough siuation. The park itself was very nice. Quiet. Sites are large and comfortable. Hookups were well maintained and well placed. Sites are gravel and quite level. Excellent wifi and satalite. Fast food and fuel close by. Close to little big horn. A nice surprise.

Good Sam really needs to look at this place and see if it still qualifies for a Good Sam rating. It's pretty run down, has no office (the manager works out of her car), has no gift or supply shop (as advertised), and is pretty expensive for what they offer. I'm glad we were only there for one night.

We definitely do not recommend this campground and were very disappointed. It does not deserve the status of a Good Sam campground. Specifically: We chose an electric only campsite, rather than a full hookup site. The space we were given was a parking lot in front of a shed where a few campers were parked 10 ft apart from each other. No private space, no grass, no defined campsite and not enough picnic tables. The registration office is a mess. There were two cats and a dog roaming around. The... Read More

The registration office is a mess. There were two cats and a dog roaming around. The cats were eating up on the registration counter. Open, half full cans of cat food wereon the counter and the representative placed the credit card machine on top of one for me to put the PIN in. Washrooms are clean, but there are no proper doors, only curtains on toilets and showers and if more than one person is taking a shower you would have to walk through the changing area of one stall to get to the next. They do not have a dump station, even though the Good Sam's travel planner states that they do so. We were told in an unfriendly way that if we really needed to we could dump in one of the full service sites on the way out, but that we could not fill with fresh water. In four month of travel in Canada and the USA, every public and private campground we used provided a dump station and filling for general use regardless of the type of campsite chosen. This is totally unacceptable.

This facility is not up to Good Sam standards. The bathrooms are similar to public swimming pool bathrooms. Curtained stalls with no privacy and not well maintained. The property floods regularly. The owner puts travel brochures in the bathrooms to keep patrons away from the office and out of her space. She can be very rude about reservation details and since she does not use a registration form like most RV parks, the details of your requested stay are left up to her interpretation and not up for negotiation. You will be charged for whatever she thinks you owe her with no exceptions. There is no good Sam discount. Contrary to her advertising, it is not the only place to stay to be close to area attractions.

After a long day of driving and fighting the rain unhooking we were not in a good mood. However, it worked out well and they put us in a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for our tow vehicle and 44' motorhome. It seems the owners are trying to make this a nice park. They had a fire in the office and house and this makes it a little difficult for them, but if you're patient you will enjoy your stay. Did the the price was high with the Good Sam Discount.

This RV park was creepy. We were shocked that it qualified as a Good Sam park. There were a number of old travel trailers/trailers that were festooned with towels and dried up plants. The office looked chaotic as if the owners were moving. We couldn't wait to leave.

I think when you call, give your credit card & get a confirmed reservation for a pull-thru site that's what you should expect upon arrival. Instead she informed us that someone called after us and she gave it to them. Not a family friendly one night stop either - children are to be "accompanied at all times", first time we've encountered this rule. Sorry, my well behaved kids have been traveling in a car for 10 hours - they need to roam & play.

We really enjoyed this park. The manager was quite accommodating even though we had no reservation. Her park fills up quickly as we observed during our 4 night stay. It is close to Little BigHorn NP and the info from the manager led us in the right direction as to time of day and what kind of crowds to expect. They are doing a few improvements here and there but none were noisy or in the way of our enjoyment of the area. We would stay here again if in the area.

Don't stay here unless you're hard up for a site. The 'office' smelled like 15 cats lived there. The 'free' wifi only works, maybe, if you're sitting at the picnic table outside the animal-filled office. The bathhouse was passable. The hostess cared more about her own trials and tribulations than the services she's supposed to offer. There's not even a good cup of coffee to be had. No camp store. No shade.

This is a good park with level sites, immaculate restrooms & laundry. The free icecream social at 7 pm EVERY night is a nice touch. The recreation room is beautiful with a pool table, chairs & booths. Management is very friendly. I totally disagree with some of the previous reviews. There is shade on some sites. Some of us prefer not to park under trees with the accompanying bird poop.

Plain Jane type of place, over half of the area has no shade, sites could use some work as far as being level. Restroom & showers are plain, with just concrete floors and shower curtains, seemed clean. cost is on the high side at $38.50 after good sam discount, with no amenities at all. Oh and cash & checks only.. NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED!!

This is an old park but well maintained. Leveling can be an issue and all spaces are back-ins ('pull-thrus' are actually driving thru one space into another). It is very clean and neat. The restrooms are very out of date (makes one think of dorm showers at summer camp) but clean and functional. It is in a very convenient location...on the edge of town, fuel station across the street, easy on & off the highway. We would definitely stay again.
