Never stay here. I don't understand the Feb 2021 5 star review. This place is infested with permanent residents with the typical junk scattered around their sites. I booked and explained I had a 26 foot travel trailer. I was put into a site that barely held the trailer with no room to park my tow vehicle. It's sitting half way into the driveway I'll probably get nailed for that. The only grass is a couple of picnic areas and, of course, dogs aren't allowed there. There are a couple of dusty,... There are a couple of dusty, overly small dog corrals which are a considerable walk from most sites. There are a couple of visitor sites that might hold my trailer but, those seem to be permanent sites also. Front desk staff was friendly and that's the only good thing I have to say

I'm almost hesitant to write a review as I'm afraid I won't get a reservation in the future. This park is clean, friendly, helpful, and all around a wonderful stay. It's a very dog friendly park so if you're afraid of dogs, don't stay here. There's two pet relief areas with pooper scoopers, bags, and trash can provided. There's no excuse not to clean up after your pet, which everyone does. There's no breed restrictions and people are understanding about dog behavior. We had plenty of room for... Read More

There's no excuse not to clean up after your pet, which everyone does. There's no breed restrictions and people are understanding about dog behavior. We had plenty of room for our travel trailer (20 foot), truck, and small car in the pull-through space. Our space was easy in, easy out with hookups that worked. It snowed and with freezing weather so we disconnected from the water at night, which is only common sense. The park is all paved black top. Majority of the park is permanent residents who are helpful and friendly. We felt safe our entire stay. The park is out of the way, on a hill, next to busy road so there's some road noise, but not enough to keep you up at night. There's a walking path to get to the Arco AM/PM. There's a code needed to get into the restrooms, and they're cleaned daily. There's a laundry and gym on site, but we didn't use either. The pool was closed for winter. Propane refills are effortless. There's a little shop in the office selling RV supplies and a few household items like dish soap. Nothing remarkable and no touristy trinket items. If we ever need to stay in Reno/Tahoe area, we will absolutely stay here without hesitation.

Very nice facilities, friendly staff, but very short and narrow sites - hard to get into with larger units.

My husband and I have been staying at Shamrock R.V. Park for years. We look forward to coming up to Reno and staying here. We didn't know if we were going to make it this year as our old trailer was totaled! But we bought a new 31' 5th wheel (our old one was 28') and had no problem fitting in our site!!!!The staff goes out of their way to make sure our stay is better than the last!!! Any questions we may have, regarding activities, dining, etc, the staff is always helpful!! They even gave our... Read More

We have returned to the Shamrock RV Park three times, ever since we have been full-time Rving. We have always found the park to be immaculately clean, well maintained and friendly. The staff are without a doubt the friendliest, most welcoming people in all the parks we have been to. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone wanting a quiet, friendly, clean atmosphere.

My husband and are in Reno for 3 months for work. We have a large dog, which a lot of RV parks will not allow due to "aggressive breed" restrictions. This park was not our first choice, as our first choice did not have any vacancies...so we paid in advance for 1 month here. On the phone, they sounded very dog friendly...... not true. Dogs are NOT allowed on the grass here.... there is a "pet relief" area in the back which is pretty much a glorified litter box. My dogs did not like it in there and... Read More

My dogs did not like it in there and did not want to do their business in there either. The park itself is on a hill making it VERY windy there and you definitely get snow there as well. Just to warn you, prior to snow or rain (which will lead to black ice) they do NOT salt or put anything down..... it gets VERY slippery. Also, since the RVs are parked like sardines, its stressful driving, hoping you wont hit anyone. The spaces are small and NOT level - we barely fit our 5th wheel and truck in the spots. There's also wooden boards along the edge of the spaces, and if you drive over them you get a ticket with a fine.... this makes parking even more challenging. Talking about tickets, they are not afraid to give you a ticket for any violation.....unless your a permanent resident..... they can break all the rules - allowing dogs to run without a leash, drive through empty spots.... management overlooks those violations for them. In the winter time YOU are responsible for THEIR water spicket... you have to insulate their portion or you might be faced with damage charges about $250. Why am I responsible for their facilities? Mail and packages are NOT kept behind the counter, they are out in the open free for anyone to take. Although we did not have any mail/ packages stolen or lost, it was great concern of ours. I usually use the showers in RV parks as the pressure tends to be better when I wash my hair.... I wouldnt go near this one. There is no privacy in the showers, just a curtain. You also only have a bench to put your things on, which is narrow and your things will fall on the floor. It also smelt like a shower/ bathroom, no clean smell. The gym is somewhat decent, there is a stationary bike and some weights with a television. One other thing that really got to us, was that the manager used the property as his own personal back yard for his family and friends.... including the equipment. He drives the loud company side by side cart very fast all day long back and fourth from his RV to the main building.... even on his days off. It is not uncommon for him and his family to have altercations outside yelling profanities to one another. The only good thing about this RV park was that the wifi was fairly decent..... Needless to say once our time was up, we left...

Most unfriendly RV park we have ever stayed at! They advertise they are pet friendly. But, they have a fit if your dog wanders on any grassy areas. Our dog stepped on a grassy spot while we were setting up. The manager cam running out of the office yelling "No Dogs on the Grass". And, the sites were extremely small. We could barely get our truck and our 18 foot trailer in the site. Our neighbor, who had a Class A motorhome had to park his tow car on the street in front of the RV park. Will... Read More
