I liked the campground overall, it just needs a few updates. The bathrooms and pay showers are clean, but dated. The mini golf and picnic tables need work. I liked the staff very much and the store was thoughtfully stocked with excellent hours. The campground has many events, including a periodic chicken BBQ that was excellent. I will probably return, as the good outweighs the bad. The seasonal campers were decent providing a nice friendly atmosphere.
This was our first trip in our shiny new 5th wheel. We had a full hookup site and wanted to try out all "systems" on the new RV so we did not use the camp facilities very much, just one quick visit to the bathroom when I went to the store. The site was 50 amps with plenty of water pressure and sewer. The staff was very friendly and the store was well stocked. Our water hose was too short and they had one in stock. I especially appreciated that the store prices were completely reasonable, no... Read More

We took a Sunday morning walk around the lake. The grounds are very pleasant, lots of friendly folks fishing. There were a lot of permanent campers here if that matters.
There were only a few minor issues. One was that it was a very sloped site. I actually had to go out to a local Lowes and pick up some cinder blocks to put under the landing gear to get the camper to level. In the future I will carry some appropriate blocks to handle the leveling issue. Also, it was a back in site which put the RV up against the treeline. We have toy hauler with a ramp that doubles as a deck. We could not use it because there was not room to drop the ramp. That wasn't a problem on this trip but it is something we will be cognizant of in the future. To be fair this was a last minute reservation so I think we were lucky to get a site at all.
Overall I would definitely recommend this campground. It is reasonably priced with a friendly staff and good utilities. And you can easily maneuver a 42.5 foot 5th wheel.

Overall this is a nice campground. Swimming pool is nice, adequate amount of activities, nice playgrounds and friendly atmosphere. The one downfall would be the restrooms and pay showers. I dislike that after paying to stay at a campground that I would have to pay to shower. Not the easiest to use with children. The campground is laid back and relaxed. The mini golf course could use some maintenance, but is definetely usable. Again, campground and it's sites are nice, staff is friendly,... Read More
