I stayed here for a month. The office was barely ran. Staff wasn't friendly or helpful. Grounds are beautiful and it is very quiet.

Warning to Big Rigs & Campers. What a NIGHTMARE we just experienced for 15 hours. Beware of Site F2, SAND, no stone or grass. We sunk 6-8' into pure sand in this site trying to maneuver into position. Went to office seeking help to get us out & they replied, here is a phone book, find a towing company and the employee behind the desk lost his mind and began to curse uncontrollably and get out by morning if you want a refund. We had to hire a 20 ton wrecker costing us $375 and then had to wait until... Read More

We had to hire a 20 ton wrecker costing us $375 and then had to wait until 10:30 on a Saturday morning during peak camping season to get our refund; owner knew wrecker was pulling us out at 8 a.m. All roads are dirt and DUSTY. Trees need to be cut back at sites and roadways, if you value the paint on your coach. After no help with the wrecker cost & getting our refund, we were criticized on the holes left by the wheels and they expected us to fill the holes for the next camper to experience the same situation, if not worse.

Stayed over the summer months. Dirt roads well maintained and if you don't get full service they come around and empty holding tanks once a week... electric rates seemed high as well as camping rates.. the water has an awful odor and some sites you almost have to swim to get to coach door... many sites not in the A section are very narrow and hard to get into and out of..... trees drop acorns which will dent your vehicle like they did mine... try not to park directly under trees... deer, turkeys... Nice place, nothing special, Sandy roads very dusty if its dry. Water pressure was terrible, and there were only a few people in the campground. I would hate to be there when they were busy. But they took us in when we called late at night leaving another campground we were disappointed with. They waited until 7:30pm for us to arrive.

Not a bad campground, I liked the facilities EXCEPT for the dump station. Do not stay here if you will need to dump and can't get a full hookup. We were late in making reservations and it was summer. The pool was very nice, there was lots of room in our site and plenty of areas to walk and some nice open fields. The people in the office are Jersey friendly, you're not getting Southern hospitality. But it is well stocked with stuff you might need.
