Great campground nice pool and staff. Close to Acadia National park located near airport. Ran A/C and or fans planes were not an issue. Acadia National Park was awesome definitely worth the trip. Great place to stay convenient nice photos of sun rising in the morning.

The RV park is no more than a large parking lot with everyone side by side. The mosquito problem is tremendous. The restrooms were fairly clean with signs that said caution hot water but in two days we found no hot water and when we reported it they said oh yes there is but turning on the faucet said no there isn't staff was not real compliant to help with problems. Will not return

I do not know how Good Sam gave this place a 8.5 for anything. Maybe they like the jets taking off at six in the morning or maybe it is the bi-plane constantly taking off for site-seer rides. No? Perhaps then it is the constantly yapping and barking dogs that make you feel as if you were at the local SPCA shelter as neither there owners nor the park staff care to do anything about them. Oh we will move you to another site but as we put the dogs throughout the park that will not help. No we will... Read More

The rest rooms and showers are dirty and as mentioned before the staff seems to be uncaring, The fire pit although movable is out on the road at the far end of the site and No You Can Not Move It To where it should be down at what would be the patio/seating area, that is not allowed. The only plus if you want to call it that is that we were on a pull through site all in all a minus 3 for value and a minus 10 for the stay. Very definitely not worth the in season cost of Five Hundred Dollars and would have been more comfortable in the Walmart parking lot with the eight others we saw there, at least it is quiet there at night.

The central reservation center for this national chain of campgrounds bungled my reservation by placing my 5th wheel RV in a "Pull In" site rather than a "Pull Through" site. The agent making the booking clearly was not properly trained or familiar with different RV equipment and the related campsite options. Luckily, the on-site staff immediately caught the error when they received the booking at their end. Thank goodness and kudos to them for immediately contacting me and placing me in a better... Thank goodness and kudos to them for immediately contacting me and placing me in a better site. Upon check-in, I was informed that there is a daily "Resort Fee". This turned out to be hilarious! There are no amenities at this park coming even close to "Resort" status. In fact, in over 2 years of full-time RVing around the country, I have not run into any RV park - many of them very upscale - that charge a separate "resort fee". The manager of the park claims this pays for the pool (quite small), the bus stop for Acadia National Park (uh?), music (never had a performance the two weeks I was there), ice cream social (again, never saw this happen) and the WiFi (which was frequently no working and when it worked was very slow). Setting aside the silly resort fee debate, my largest complaint with this campsite is that the amenities and condition of the resort does not meet the expectations of the higher than average fees that they charge. The roads are dusty and despite the advertised low speed limits, people zip around easily kicking up dust that gets on the vehicles, tables, inside the campers, etc. They really need to put down some gravel or even better yet pave their roads. The hot water at the inadequately equipped laundry room did not work for 1 week of the 2 weeks we stayed at the park. The restroom/shower facilities were subpar and I just didn't even want to use them. On a positive note, there are some nice sites with good views of the water and mountains. However, I recommend you contact the park directly to get the site you want since the central reservation system and staff do not seem to really understand which sites are available and offer the best placement for your stay.

gals in the office very friendly/helpful.. pull in site, smack in the middle of campground, easy in and out, easy hook up... absolutely no shade of any kind, rock/dirt roads, so even the people who drove slowly kick up a ton of dirt/dist from road... lovely when your sitting outside or eating to get a face full of dirt/dust... you're also just beyond the airport, planes flying over constantly... walk up by water sites to see how they were set up and believe me I would not have been happy... those... Narrows Too was just the type of campground we needed. The park was easy to get in and out of for big rigs; the site was level and also easy to access. Staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is just a short drive to downtown and other sites to see in the area. Waterfront sites are tops, located on the ocean bay with seagulls flying overhead and views of Cadillac Mountain in the distance. The weather couldn't have been better for our stay. We will definitely return.
