Last minute selection to stay here, and so glad we did. Jack was super easy to work with in finding a spot with not having a reservation prior to arrival. Nice large spots and amazing walking paths. Not to forget the huge dog park! I can only imagine the sweet smell of the lavender by the canopy walk. We might have to come back here when they are in bloom. We did not use the facility and their restrooms since we have our own, but it looked clean from the outside. Definitely worth coming here. PS:... Read More

2022.07.18. Very quiet even though right next to I-94! 36th St. SE that you take to get to the CG from I-94 is a gravel country road, so expect some dust and bumps! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Spots are level and plenty long for our 40' and Jeep dingy to stay attached. We wouldn't want our spot if ever there again (47). It had us pull in so that our entry door and neighbors entry door faced each other...so you share a common green area between the two of you. This type of spot is great... Read More

This type of spot is great if you are camping with the people you are facing, but we weren't. However, in the morning to leave had the CG been full we would not have been able to get out without unhitching our Jeep due to tightness of turn needed to get out of our spot. If you are able to request a spot for ease of getting in/out I'd recommend: 24, 30, 36, 43, 31, 25, or 19. Would stay again if traveling to/from the west, but ask for one of the above spots!!

8/16/21 The owners really care about their customers and facility. It shows. The grounds are well maintained and unique. Great for pup owners as well as others. There is a shady tree lined walk that is beautiful. The loccation is easy access to the freeway. It is close to town, shopping, resturants and activities. There is a short dirt/gravel... Read More

I originally only booked July 2-6, but liked it SO much I extended my stay another 2 nights, then another full week. There are plenty of shade trees throughout most of the campgrounds (which was VERY important to me in that heat wave), and strong wifi! I didn't use the public restrooms at all (since I had full hook-ups), but I found the whole campground, the ample laundry facility, and the rest of it VERY clean and well kept! A nice campground with a very friendly and considerate staff. On our first night, one of the owners came around to see if we were getting settled. A couple of days later, there was a weather alert and the owners came through the campground letting people know the campground was in the area covered by the alert and they could go to the office if they felt the need. The campground is laid out alternatingly so that RVs have their sewer hookups between them on one side and doors facing another RV’s... Read More

Pulled into Jamestown campground (or I should say "limped")with a barely running truck. Check-in was very simple and friendly, owner very sympathetic to my plight of broken down truck. She gave us a couple of repair facility suggestions for Monday morning as everything was already closed on Saturday evening. Came by site after we were set-up to check on us and make sure... She gave us a couple of repair facility suggestions for Monday morning as everything was already closed on Saturday evening. Came by site after we were set-up to check on us and make sure we were doing ok. She also loved on Ellie the dog and gave her treats, making a life long friend! Since we were laid up on Sunday, used the VERY clean laundry room to get us through the rest of the trip, took a couple of walks on the nice trails and was very pleased with everything! If we ever get back through this area, we'll for sure stop here and stay for a few days to enjoy the area. Couldn't have asked for a better place to break down at!!

Spacious, well maintained, attractive campground. Lovely, friendly owners made us feel comfortable and welcome. Walking trail and large dog area, better than any we've been to. Awesome laundry facilities. Didn't use the showers, so can't rate them.

We were traveling with our dog and the park provides and excellent exercise and "biz" area. There were poop bags and a garbage can. Yes, there was a long gravel road to get to the entrance, but we had been told about it and just kept our speed down so there was no problem. We had excellent water pressure and good quality water. Some reviewers said they were not pet friendly, not so. They are just not "poop everywhere friendly", as well they should be. I always pick up after my dog, but not everyone does and the "lifters" can sure kill bushes... We did not have any issue with highway noise. This is a nice, clean park with wonderful, compassionate owners. Would for sure stay there again!

The campground was clean and quiet, but I feel like people should be aware of the bathroom policy. This wasn't a big issue for us ... but depending on the makeup of your family the policy might be problematic for you. Here is a section from their rules: "Accompany your children 12 & under to the restrooms boys to Mens, girls to Womens" This means if you are parent traveling with children of a different gender, you won't be able to accompany your children into the restroom.

Very cute, immaculate campground! The restroom and showers were the cleanest and tidiest we have ever been in! The whole campground was in tip top shape and neat as a pin. You could tell the owners take great pride in their campground and it shows. And very easy on and off Route 94.

This is the nicest campground, friendly folks that run it, cleanest bathrooms. Showers were nice and clean. The area is mowed and well maintained. There's a nice size kids play area. There's a mowed path that you can walk that goes around the grounds to stretch your legs. There's designated pet areas and nicely marked areas where pets are not allowed. Amazing camp ground. VERY pet friendly. The dog walking track is amazing I will defiantly be coming back here again. The spots are wide pull thru with plenty of room between spots. shaded area as well a satellite TV area. I can't say enough about the friendly Owners who ride bikes to escort you to you spot. Easy on off I94 shopping and gas are very close. Low Low noise and amazing views. A must stop by even if it is for 1 night.

This was the nicest park so far on our trip. The owners were friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well maintained. We were traveling with several dogs and they accommodated us with no issues. We did not use the restrooms, but the rest of the park was great. It had a playground area for kids, a pet area, tent areas and a couple of small cabins. I definitely would choose this park again.

Very nice park and well managed by the owners. Seems to be anti-pet as I did not see any poop bags or disposal cans that most parks have. We carry our own so no big deal. He even mentioned for our dog not to do their business on our sites lawn. OK, got it. The reason I give this park such a low overall rating is the road owned by the county. It totally wiped out our RV and car we pull from the dusty road. We had to go afterwards to a truck wash the next day at a cost of 85 dollars to get things... Read More

This by far is one of our favorite stopping points when traveling in the north. The roads are wide, the hook ups are easy. Everything well maintained and kept up nicely. The double hedge row walking path makes for a great way to stretch our four legged friend. The owners and people are friendly and a joy to talk to. Very hospitable and welcoming overnight place, mostly nestled in a grove of trees. Not a lot of 'kid appeal' in that there is no playground or pool but you will get decent separation and a quiet, restful night. Strong WiFi, cable, and a good variety of options for campers and RVers.

There were thousands of butterflies when we were there. The park is located at the end of a long gravel road. when we stopped, the first half had been watered so it was not that bad. The second half was very dusty. we followed a hay truck out and we had to stop so we could see. The campground is located next to the highway and that can be a plus for the access. The noise was there, but not as bad as some places we stayed. It was far enough from the ramp that we did not hear the trucks rumbling to a stop with the jake brakes. Overall we enjoyed this place. The Wifi was very solid and fast. The owners were nice and we felt welcomed. We will keep this place on our list for the future.
