Well, I gave it the 3 star only for location, not the campground, it is very run down, staff is friendly when you come in, but after, not so much anymore, our site had was very unlevel, it had open sewer pit?!! It used to have a mobile on it, they said, was never set up for camping unit, roads are not for bigger units, a sign at the bathroom stating that they were monitored by video ????!!!! Would we stay there again, NO

This is the only camping ground I have ever been to that has NO MOSQUITOES probably due to the cedar and wind off the bay. The camping spots are spacious with trees...thats right privacy between most campsites. They have several buildings with flush toilets and showers for FREE, that are well maintained and clean. They offer pump outs at a reasonable price right on location. The water is cold but there are warm places and fishing, Nice beach.

Interior roads are narrow and winding in places with no one way system. Meeting another unit would mean someone backing up. Some sites, mainly for tents, are small and little privacy except for trees between sites. However some have views toward water. Toilet bldgs are dated but kept very clean. Sites are cleaned and raked after use. With large rig good idea to check site before driving to it. CG is across quiet road from quiet beach. Lots of seasonals but also some nice sites for travellers. WiFi... Read More
