This place is definitely the weekend hangout for the locals! Weekdays are calm and quiet but every Friday all the rigs start rolling in for the weekend. However it is a good crowd and they have live music Saturday nights. Lots of families and kids. Restrooms are older but very clean. WiFi worked great and the site was comfortable. Would recommend this park.
We arrived at dark to find that our flat and level, pull through sight was nothing but an ant hill on all sides. We were sliding into a ditch to hook up. There was no one at the office as it was after hours. But found out the next morning that we were seen coming in to the spot by a staff member???? The electric box was down in a ditch. When you walk out the door, you will slide into the other ditch with the picnic table. We had to pull up to the front of the site as to not slide off the... Read More

When you walk out the door, you will slide into the other ditch with the picnic table. We had to pull up to the front of the site as to not slide off the back when unhooking. We expressed our disappointment as did the campers on each side of us. The staff (not owner) that we dealt with were very aware of the awful site and agreed with us. We were told that we were put on a site that was not meant for a 37 ft fifth wheel. Then why did someone not move our site before we got there? We were left a map with specific instructions to follow it and it had us pulling in the site backwards! That was fun to try to turn around in a very tight space, again that the staff are aware of. The next morning one of the staff offered for us to move, but we were in there then and had things to do. Please do not pay any attention to the picture on the website as it is not true. We were given a credit of about 14.00 I assume for the sewer that we were paying for but could not reach.
The roads are all dirt and dusty. Looks like a lived in park??

Plenty of trees and our site was right next to a small shallow stream [may be suitable to wade or sit on a rock and get wet]. Sites real close together. Big campground with many long term renters. Internet was very weak and no cell phone [AT&T] Real problem was the dust and dirt on the road and site. Would not take much to lay out landscape timbers and have gravel on the sites close to the RV so you did not have to sit in your chair or table in the dirt and track it into the RV. Drive through the... Read More

Drive through the canyon following the river to Estes Park was great

Great park right along the Big Thompson River just outside of the main area of Loveland giving easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park just 30 minutes up the road. The park has a ton of trees and has a true camping vibe. It has a large portion of their sites for the short term campers set up along the river. These sites are all back in and go right to the edge of the river with a picnic table set up between the sites. The roads and sites are dirt and gravel and it can get dusty at times... Read More

The roads and sites are dirt and gravel and it can get dusty at times when there are several vehicles moving around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our changing plans. There were a lot of families with kids using the playground, volleyball and grass areas. Approximately half of the sites along the river give satellite reception, but most of the park will be blocked by the very large and mature trees. The wifi never worked well for us.

Dust! Seems to be a theme for us lately. Once again, we were at the intersection of 2 heavily used driveways. The driveways don't have any gravel on them, just dirt. The site pad was dirt with scraggly weeds. There was a picnic table and fire pit but nobody wants to spend any time outside being assaulted by clouds of dust. We had a back-in site, full hookup with 50 amp electric. The free WiFi was OK, bathrooms were a little rustic but kept reasonably clean. We used the laundry and the cost... Read More

We used the laundry and the cost was reasonable, $1.75 for wash and $1.75 for dryer. We will not return due to the dust. We paid $39.10 per night.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review. Your feedback helps to continue to improve our park. Sincerely, Riverview RV Park Staff
The campsite was really nice and the staff was very kind. Our spot was backed up to the river which provided a beautiful view. There was a live band at night, and a lot of things for kids too do. Estes park was just up the road and about a mile toward town was great hiking trails. Our only complaint was the size of the sites. All the campers were almost on top of each other. We couldn't even completely extend one of our slides or the awning.
We were right by the river. Very nice view and was able to wash clothes but the dryer wasn't working. Nice dog park. The spots are close but there is enough space. I would recommend camping here.
Water pressure so low in RV that we couldn't take a shower. Cable tv had so much snow that we could barely make out the picture on some channels (had new co-ax cable so it wasn't us plus we had good picture in previous campground). Complained twice about pressure to no avail. Neighbor also had poor pressure and said office didn't care. Unfortunately not many park choices in this area. We gave up and left early. Advise you avoid this park.
This campground had a massive flood due to the Big Thompson River in 2013 and lost nearly 100 campsites. They are still rebuilding and most areas are very nice but some spots are still being updated. The staff are nice the spaces are somewhat small but overall very pleasant. Worth a visit, I'd go again!
This is a great place to stay. The people are very friendly. The grounds are family and pet friendly. Can't wait to go again. Minutes from the mountains, fishing, and shopping. In the summer months they have live entertainment most weekends.
The people were very helpful in making our reservation. The campground is in need of a overall cleaning. Poor grounds keeping, many old run down trailers with lots of junk outside, and very confusing roads with very poor signage. Not up to the Good Sams standards that we expect.
