We stayed at Hershey Road Campground for 6 nights. The check in is at 3 pm, which seems late to us. Per the park staff the late check in is required so the park can inspect and clean the campsites. When we checked in we found plastic water bottle tops, plastic tie wraps, spilled oil on the gravel site where we walked, cigarette butts, not the clean site we expected. We had a full hook up pull through site and maybe it was the time of year but the grass seemed dead and brown, which made the park... Read More

We had a full hook up pull through site and maybe it was the time of year but the grass seemed dead and brown, which made the park look rundown. The grass in the dog park was also dead, poop bags were provided in the dog park area. The cable TV worked fine but the cable TV receptacle was broken and fell back into the electrical panel. I was able to fish it out and connect my TV cable. I reported the issue to the office and they said a maintenance person would be out to make the repair, but 6 days later it was not fixed. The campground was completely packed and all the facilities were jam packed. It was impossible to use the pool, bathroom facilities, or laundry. One of our biggest complaints is there was only 1 trash can for the entire park. We were at one end of the park and the trash can was at the opposite end near the exit, very inconvenient. No one on our side of the park used the exit on the other side of the park; they all used the entrance nearest to where we were camping. Another disappointment is the lack of park supervision, they have a 9 mph speed limit but no one is monitoring that in the park. Also no one is monitoring the children driving electric bikes, and golf carts; it is just a matter of time before a child runs into someone’s truck or trailer. The park also has a small fishing pond, looked muddy with some koi in it. Overall the park was quiet in the evening and we did not see any rowdy parties. This is not a 10 rated park to us, not sure if we would stay here again.

We recently stayed for the Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The park is clean and impeccably maintained. The pool, mini golf and camp store are all brand new and offer a great time. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and genuinely want to ensure you have a great experience. My children loved the pool and the playground. Our pull thru site was level and spacious for our 42ft fifth wheel. The dog park was clean, well situated in the campground and had shade. A jumping pad or... Read More

New sites with grill picnic table and fire pitt the new owners have redone everything swimming pool splash pad opening soon my only complaint is the bathrooms are very run down however the staff does keep them very clean new restrooms arent open yet very attentive staff liz and kathy are so friendly and helpful thank you ladies for giving me directions recommendations and helping me get my camper parked i will stay here again!!!!!
The campground is run down and in need of a lot of repairs. The bathrooms have rotted wood and holes in the walls which were painted over. Two out of three bathroom stall doors don't lock and the entrance door is falling apart. Definitely not worth the price. The tennis court is overrun with weeds. On the positive side, the owner is nice and very friendly but the only thing we saw him do was pick up fallen branches. Will never go back there.
Not the best campsite we've stayed at. Hookups old not very well kept. Bathroom facilities disgusting, the worst we've encountered. Store ok and people really nice. Glad it was just a one night stay.
