The campground is very near the city of Mt. Pleasant. We were participants in the Ragbrai ride and found this campground to be ideal for a two nights stay. The campground host, Frank, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds were kept in excellent shape with lots of room (green grass) to walk a dog! A convenient location in a nice town. Very well maintained by the hosts. Bathrooms are large and clean with plenty of hot water and pressure. Slips are level. Easy in and out. Lots of grassy areas to exercise your dog. Scooters coffee within an easy walk. There is a nice dog park a short drive away. Nice RV park. A good experience.

Have stayed at this park several times on out travels from Georgia to Minnesota. Great park, well maintained, nice appeal, friendly helpful staff. Good hook-ups, well maintained. Roads and sites are gravel but maintained well and remain level for easy set-up. Didn't use the restrooms, showers or laundry (just an overnight stay) so can't rate them. Good value for your money here especially for an overnight.

We stayed at Crossroads RV park on our first night out during a two week trip. We were trying to stay just east of the Mississippi (in Illinois) but couldn't find any parks in that vicinity that offered online booking or would answer their phone to make a reservation. Since we would be staying during Memorial Day weekend, just showing up and hoping for a site seemed too big a gamble. This was the next closest place we could find, and it was worth the extra 45 minutes or so of driving! I knew we would arrive after office hours, so I called ahead to get instructions on finding our site. The woman who answered the phone was extremely helpful and told me where to find a sheet with instructions and our site information when we arrived...and it was right where she promised! We also ran into a gentleman who worked there (the next morning) and he was incredibly polite and stopped to talk with us, even though he was in the middle of cleaning. The park was extremely clean, beautiful, and very well-maintained. We were impressed with its presentation, all the flags, and the beautiful flowers in planters around the park. Our site was level enough that we didn't need our blocks, and we did have a picnic table at our full hookup site (#4). We loved our site, which looked out over trees and wasn't far from the office. Our only great sadness was that our site did not have a fire ring. We had planned to make breakfast over the fire the next morning, but we didn't have a ring. (Our rig is too small and tight on storage to carry our own fire pit.) There were maybe six or so fire pits scattered at other sites, and none were being used, but we also weren't supposed to move them, so we were just out on making our campfire breakfast. We found the park to be quiet and very safe, but we were surprised that no one really hung out outside their camper. Of 34 full sites, only one family was out, even though the weather was stunning the evening we were there. (The one family outside had brought their own fire pit.) Despite the lack of fire ring and the lack of outside community, we thought this campground was extremely well maintained, and we had a great night of sleep there before resuming our trip!

Nice park. All pull thrus and our site was level. Looked like the others were also. hook ups were right in the middle, no extensions needed. Didn't use bathrooms so no rating. One negative. We didn't have a picnic table and when I asked for one, "sorry, can't help you". Yet there were at least 6 sitting unused.

This was a very nice campground. Everything was very neat and clean. The hosts were very polite, friendly and helpful. Also, all of the hookups were where they were supposed to be. We didn't have to use any extensions on electric, water or sewer to get them to reach the outlets. It was also very quiet considering it's proximity to the interstate. We will most definitely stay here again anytime we are in the Mt. Pleasant vicinity. Thank you making our stay more enjoyable.

Only stayed here over night, the property is very well maintained and groomed. WiFi and cable tv work great. The highlight of our stay was the restrooms, they are very well maintained, clean and look at first brand new but they are just well maintained. The restroom and showers are what you could expect at a 5 star hotel. The only drawback I could see would be a lack of shade in the heat of the summer. We will definitely stay here again if were pass through again.

This park looks newer, but is actually 10 years old. We only stayed overnight, but had a very pleasant stay. The office is open a limited number of hours, but the campground host was able to tell us where to park our rig and we registered when the office opened up at 4:00 pm. The owners are new, but are doing a great job at maintaining the park and making it their own. the sites are level and spaced nicely. We were very impressed and will definitely return here if we are passing through the area again. Great for an overnight stay.

We asked for a refill on our propane on our built in tanks. They don't do the built ins. We would need to remove the tanks, they would fill and bring back. Not acceptable.

The owner was very helpful with us. It was our first night in a new RV and we needed a lot of help. And we got it. Thanks.

Loved this little place, very clean and nice. There was a nice park nearby to run, walk or ride bike. The staff there was great. Did not use restroom or laundry facility. I will definitely go back there again along my travels.

So nice as all sites are level and pull-thru. Don't have to unhook if over-nighting.

I am a repeat camper at this campground, the pull through sites and the showers are always well kept and clean. The office personnel always greet you with a smile and warm greeting and assist you with your check in and ack if you will need assistance with your camper. I will continue to use this camp ground when ever I am in Mount Pleasant.

We did not plan to stay at this campground, but freezing rain and sleet caused us to reevaluate our plans. What stood out to us was the outstanding restrooms. These are among the best we've seen!
