The problem is the fire pits are so close to the edge of the patio that if you put out your awning it would be over the fire. So, the negatives are pretty narrow sites with no shade along side one of the main highways in the Black Hills. The positives are:the place is very well maintained, the bathrooms and laundry room are very nice, they are very accommodating to motorcyclists and off roaders. All the other campers we met there were very nice and most were there to ride the ATV trails in the adjacent national forest. The price is reasonable and we had no problems of any sort.
