We stayed 6 nights. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the park was quiet and the grass was kept cut, and there is a lot of grass as the spaces are extremely large. A picnic table and fire pit was provided. During our stay we had 3 tornado warnings, and received a text from the staff for each one. They have shelters in a basement and both bathrooms. The full time residents were also extremely helpful during the tornado warnings. The park roads and facilities are old and need some TLC. We... Read More

The facilities are not clean and have not been for the last seven days. I went to use the laundry room, and everything is covered in a layer of dirt. The young office guy said I could clean it. The bathroom is nasty. They mowed the grass with a large powerful mower and repeatedly sprayed the side of my rig with sticks, rocks, pinecones.
Stayed overnight. The staff was wonderful at getting us to our site and assisting with setup. The RV pull through site was large and spacious. Campground and bathrooms were clean. Would stay again if I was in the area.
The rv sites were very large and spacious. The staff were outstanding and working hard to complete updates to the facilities. Cody, the new Campground Manager, was very friendly and really worked hard to ensure our stay was wonderful. Nice centrally located campground, with easy access to interstate.
Spent one night here while passing through the area. Outstanding facility. Numerous, large, spacious, level campsites. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I left my hose "Y" connector at the previous campsite the night before and they let me borrow one for the night. We didn't use the restroom or shower facilities, so are unable to comment on them. Would definitely stay here again.
This was not our first stay, nor our last. We have always enjoyed the over nighter here, this by far has the best showers of any place we have ever stayed. Roads wide enough for our 45 footer and easy turns. Spacing is great for all slides and hook ups right where they should be. Level sites for everyone. Spacing between sites are perfect for privacy or group camping. If we had kids this is a place to stay a week, Easy access of the highway, and beleive it or not this place is quiet. No... Read More

We were impressed with the grassy spaciousness of the very level sites, the helpfulness of the staff, and the amenities. It was a stress-free visit. Pull through sites and easy setup, with some necessities available in the office. This is the perfect distance from Minneapolis for a trip any time. You'll have to take a walk to the gazebo and see if you can spot the GIANT frog and big fish in the pond. The park is right off the highway, so there's some slight sound form that, but it's not bothersome... Read More

The park is right off the highway, so there's some slight sound form that, but it's not bothersome in any way. There's so much to do for families! Minigolf, disc golf, pickleball, big playground, volleyball, paddleboats, fishing... it goes on and on. If you're bored there, it's by choice! We did the minigolf course twice and found it to be a fun challenge each time (and the course spells out the park name for extra cuteness). We were there midweek and it was very quiet with respectful neighbors and good stargazing. We will absolutely stay again!

What a fantastic place!! We were thoroughly impressed with everything about this campground. We had originally planned to boondock 1 1/2 hr away but decided to drive further and find a campground. We called last minute- 3 hours before arriving and were greeted by Darryl. I knew after speaking with him it was a going to be a great stay! He was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy, site was perfect. Close to the highway, yet super quiet. My son loved the pond to fish in as well as mini golf!... Read More

The best rv park on our trip this year. 50' level gravel pull through sites widely spaced with lots of manicured grass between sites. This is more like camping in a state park only cleaner. Lots of kid stuff to do including tractor rides and well kept miniature golf. Only $34 which is less than the state parks.
Very nice place, clean, quite and super friendly folks. One night stay but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer if needed. Spacious sites pretty darn level and priced good . Stayed here overnight from PA
Excellent spot near interstate. Nice large pull thrus with level gravel spots and plenty of amenities. Splash pad for kids, paddle boats, disc golf, miniature golf and horseshoes, just to name a few. Definitely recommend if you need one night or longer in the area
Wonderful place to stay!. Staff very nice, very clean and we'll groomed lawn and sites. Sites are very large. Quite! My husband and I travel many miles and have stayed in many campgrounds, but the "Lazy Acres ", is by far one of best places we have stayed. Passing through Iowa again it will definitely be a stopping point. A++!
Great place to stay for a night, a week, or longer. Staff very friendly and helpful with any concerns you might have while staying there. We have Class A motorhome with a toad and found the sites are large (both wide & long). The restrooms are clean and bright. We will be staying here again.
Very nice RV park. Wife and I stayed for a month while attending Hawkeye fb games. Park is well maintained and nearly all sites are pull-thru and satellite friendly. Located about 15-20 minutes, via I-380, from all big stores in northern CR/Hiawatha. Will be returning each fall football season.
This is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed in. It was clean and very well kept. There were toys throughout the entire campground, not just a play area, as well as other activities for all ages. Our pull through site had plenty of parking, and we felt like we actually had a yard. I was a little concerned about the noise coming from Interstate 380, but didn't even hear it, how nice to have a campground that wasn't miles away from the highway. I would highly recommend giving Lazy Acres a try. Read More
