They were very nice and friendly at the office, but this place needs a facelift. The bathrooms/showers were not clean. There was lots of unpicked up dog poop around. There was a large stray dog wandering the camp off leash, of course. LOTS of RVs, but very few people. Weird feeling. BUT, there is a great hiking/biking trail right next to the camp, so we were able to get some exercise, so that was a plus. And it's right near the freeway and fuel, etc. But no place good to eat nearby.

What's odd about this TINY RV site is that even though it's next to the freeway, and next to a strip mall, it's VERY sweet. Immaculate bathrooms/showers/laundry facility. And that strip mall has a Bomgaar, which happened to have exactly what I needed for a repair and supplies, a great restaurant, a terrific coffee shop. and a full GYM for $15/day! It has zero curb appeal, but those extras MORE than make up for it!!

It was fine... the lake looks NOTHING like the photo, and it's in a very industrial area. But it was perfectly acceptable. My biggest complaint is the number of political signs. There were at least a dozen. I don't care who you vote for, but I don't want it pushed in my face when I walk out my door. Made us very uncomfortable, and unwelcome. Haven't seen that at any other RV parks so far.

This is our second stay at this park and we were happy to see that they are working on improvements. The park has many long term residents in the more developed part of the park and the shorter term residents in what looks like a newer section. The short term section has new fencing and small bushes recently planted to help delineate the sites. The sites and roads are still gravel and ground up asphalt organized in a shared hook up area with your neighbor. The park has working wifi, good bathroom/showers... Read More

Single night stay. Office closes at 5pm, but they were happy to accept reservation by phone with credit card. Very clear map and rules guide provided with my receipt. Gravel site was almost entirely level, and it was easy to enter & exit with our 37' motorhome. Printed rules seemed strict, made me feel less than welcome but all the campers I met were friendly. 2 toilets and 2 showers for each gender. Good, not great water pressure. Large shower stalls.

This was an overnight stay for us. We had stopped here once before about a year ago when we first got our RV, to meet some friends. The location en route is what brought us back. We appreciated the easy after hour check-in with all the info waiting for us in the office mailbox. We also liked that the pull through site was long enough to keep our tow vehicle attached ( but JUST) long enough ...we tow a Fusion behind a 40' bus. We appreciated the easy after hour check-in with all the info waiting for us in the office mailbox. We also liked that the pull through site was long enough to keep our tow vehicle attached ( but JUST) long enough ...we tow a Fusion behind a 40' bus. The lake and surrounding grassy area is park-like, but steep banks so it's more of a lake to look at from a distance....we don't have kids with us so no worries of kids falling in. The grass seems to be a little too important to this facility, since they protect it with LARGE boulders along the twisting roadway. I personally am more concerned with a clear passage that won't damage our `home' than I am about pristine grass. So basically, the tight turns and big rocks influenced my rating of this facility as a 3. Although it had several areas set up for large campfires, there were no other rec facilities, such as horseshoe or ping pong. The lake was pretty much it. The access to the freeway is a bit trickier than most of our other `overnight' spots, which may be great for longer stays but makes an overnight just that much harder.

Helpful staff on how to get to your site . It is a RV park , not a campground , because we rarely saw anyone outside and there were no fire pits at the sites we had .Roads are narrow with tight corners with boulders everywhere so you stay away from the grass(obsessed with the grass).Sites are mostly level with large gravel and a small strip of grass in between sites just wide enough for a table .Our site was too small for our 38' 5th wheel and long bed truck . Nice pond for catch and release fishing... Read More

Nice pond for catch and release fishing if you don't mind fighting off the geese and their droppings .There was suppose to be a playground but didn't see it . If you're passing through or going to the Indianapolis area , it's conveniently located , but definitely not going back .

It's a gravel parking lot for the overnighters. There is a lovely aerated lake that we could see down the gravel road, but where we were put was a gravel site on a gravel road, not very appealing. While we were hooking up the next morning and trying to depart, a grounds guy decided our little 2' x 6' token area of grass had to be mowed right then. Very dangerous to us since I was trying my best to get our truck loaded and depart. I really thought he could have waited another 10 minutes for us to... Read More

I did not go into the restrooms but the building looked nice enough from the outside.

We were in site 92. We arrived at 5:15 pm on a Thursday afternoon and the office was already closed with a notice they weren't returning till 9 am. We found our site information in a mailbox. We found the site to be fairly tight. To be honest, we only spent the night as we were passing through. We didn't have a chance to check out the bathrooms (nothing was visible from our site) or any of the amenities, if anything was available. We've stayed here multiple times. Sites are all gravel but level. They are tight though, so you're very close to your neighbors. Great cable! This was great to have and a very full amount of channels above the normal basic cable you often find. WIFI also worked. Both WIFI and cable included in the price for the site. Front desk people extremely helpful providing good directions when we were looking for a grocery store and restaurant.
