We stayed at Rose Valley for four days and had a great stay. The campsites are semi private, clean and easy to access. Great location to do fun things lie hike on the Continental Divide or visit the copper mines. We highly recommend Rose Valley Ranch.

This is a very nice RV park. We stayed here for 12 nights in early October 2023. If you like peace and quiet, large private sites, friendly staff, clean laundry and shower rooms this is the RV park for you. The sites do not have picnic tables and some visitors bring their own portable tables. There are full timers living here and they are very friendly and quiet. The 1/4 mile loop walking trail is super nice. There is a club house with a horseshoe pit. There are numerous places for your dogs to... Read More

Very close to shopping, restaurants, the historic district and other site seeing/hiking locations. Thanks Rose Valley !

Rose Valley RV Park is at 5895 ft elevation. This is a good base to explore the Gila National Forest area, the Catwalk that is in the park, The City of Rocks State Park and the Avenue de Mesilla and Las Cruces. At this elevation, the days were in the 80's and the nights were in the 50's. Rose Valley is near all the attractions in Silver City, but is quiet and peaceful. The pull through sites were a very generous amount of space and very private. We rarely heard or saw our neighbors. The showers/bathrooms/laundry rooms were clean and placed well in the park. They were also private and secure. The office was efficient and polite. I appreciate that the office, quickly and efficiently addressed my Good Sam discount without any problem. The park has some hiking trails and one path leads to the businesses nearby. There are many junipers in the park, which could use some pruning. There were many green spaces and interesting ornaments throughout the park. Silver City is a small but interesting place. The downtown is a pleasant walk with more than the usual tourist tee shirt shops and mediocre eating establishments. The Pie House had excellent pizza in a very interesting building just off the main street. We also had good pizza at the one on the main street near Dianne's, which had excellent scones, coffee, bread and other food. Good coffee shops were abundant and all very good. Most sold excellent pastries and other food. The university has an interesting museum and the grounds were fun to walk and explore. The locals were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed a week, but have considered staying a month because the town and RV park were so relaxing and pleasant.

Very quiet RV park, 2/3 looks like residents, but they seem quiet, didn't seem to hear any barking dogs. We had a nice pull through, slightly sloped downhill, but nothing you can't adjust for with levelers. Completely contactless checkin and payments. Never did meet the office staff, but seem very nice on phone. Neighbors all dead in the cemetery door, so no noisy neighbors. Lol Didn't use bathroom facility's

I appreciated the no contact registration, and in fact we never had face to face contact with anyone during our 3 night stay. The facility is well maintained and the spaces are well separated and seem almost private. The manager answered the telephone promptly and responded quickly to our every request. I definitely plan to spend time there again.

Although the park has a lot of natural green space the logistics of getting from camping areas to the restrooms, showers, laundry and dumpsters means there is a lot of foot traffic through the sites. The facility has good WiFi but no cable. There are also no activities. There is a little book room with wired internet but it isn't large enough to have a card game or put together a puzzle. When I asked about park sponsored activities, the woman at the front desk was very rude with her "No." The... Read More

When I asked about park sponsored activities, the woman at the front desk was very rude with her "No." The restrooms/showers were spacious but could be cleaner. The shower curtains need a good washing with bleach to get rid of the black stuff dragging on the floor. The toilets also could benefit from a bit of bleach. The laundry was small with only 3 of the 4 washers currently working.

Spent 2 nights while visiting the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. Rose Valley RV was a very nice, spacious, quiet and comfortable place to stay. I had been boondocking at Big Bend for a week, so badly needed the shower and laundry to restore myself to civilized status. The shower and bathroom facilities were first rate clean, roomy and lots of hot water! The laundry was nicely laid out and did not try to bust the bank to do a load...$1.25 for a regular load of laundry. Front office was friendly and provided info on the local Silver City sights. The only rough spot was an uneven site on my first try. I tried a back-in site that just didn't fit my little trailer...after three tries at getting it level enough so my legos would get me even, I gave up and went looking for another site. Found one, but it was farther from the facilities and cost a bit more because it was a pull-through. Internet was very good at the laundry/bath building and I was able to catch up with a weeks backlog of e-mail and the like. I'd go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, quiet, pretty spot in Silver City.

Called in January of 2019 for a reservation for April 2019. Wanted a large pull-thru site, but all pull-thru's were already reserved. I was assured the back in sight that was being reserved for us would be large enough for the RV with no problem. When we got to Rose Valley RV park, the site that I was told we would have when I reserved in January, was given to someone else, but no problem, right. . . . . not exactly. I was assured the back in sight that was being reserved for us would be large enough for the RV with no problem. When we got to Rose Valley RV park, the site that I was told we would have when I reserved in January, was given to someone else, but no problem, right. . . . . not exactly. The person at the desk said she was surprised to see what sight we had been assigned, as it was too small to accomodate an RV our size and she wasn't sure what else was available. I showed her my reservation from JANUARY, and asked why there wasn't a sight for us. . . . . she kept looking and found a site that she said "would work". We were able to get situated after much adjusting . . . . the sight was very uneven, had a significant drop off in the back, and had a drop off right where our back steps would have folded down hence the reason(s) for much adjusting! There were alot of weeds, tall weeds, growing in the site. My husband and I both pulled weeds for awhile to clear them out. Since we have a bathroom in our RV, we didn't have reason to use the RV park bathroom until we were leaving and our RV had been disconnected from services and the tanks emptied. I am SO GLAD that we didn't have to use the RV park bathrooms for anything more than that quick pit stop on the way out . . . . they were unclean to say the least. The showers looked grimy, the floors were dirty, no handsoap by the sink and the wastebasket was overflowing. Needless to say, it didn't leave a good feeling. We've stayed at Rose Valley in the past, and never had issues like this. It just felt like it was run down from our previous visit very disappointing. Based on this experience, any recommendation that I give for this RV park would have to include the disclaimer that it seems to be getting run down and the condition of the bathrooms is iffy.
