The campground is average. Our full hookup site was really, really small. My awning nearly touched the next trailer's slide. We had no room to put up a tent for my kids. The "lake" is more of a pond with no beach, small dock, lilly pads, and small. They do not allow fires after midnight. We had a family member rent a cabin and they had to move because it was not clean. The people in the office were excellent except for one that we think was the manager. I wanted to complain but the owner was off for a wedding. This is the ONLY campground I have ever been to that charges to use a dump station. The campground has one way roads because it is narrow. It was tight driving around towing a 35' camper. The pool is excellent with a slide for the kids. There was no splash pad that we seen. The grounds are clean but VERY wet. There are many sites that are always damp. We had 2 vehicles but the manager (Miss Pleasent) refused to give us 2 key cards even after I offered to pay a deposit. There are activities on Friday and Saturday but nothing the rest of the week. It is close to shopping for anything you want. Also, Owen Bell park is a short drive and they have a free, small splash pad. We kayaked on Ross Pond that was a short drive away. The seasonal people were nice but drive much faster than the posted 5 mph. Security was STRICT about putting out fires at midnight. They, too, drove their carts fast and often going the wrong way on the roads.

This was a lovely family owned campground with helpful friendly staff who listened and considered my needs. My site was wooded, with cable service, gray water release and pump out service for a small fee. They do have planned activities for families on weekends and lots of site seeing opportunity within easy striking distance. Shopping is only a few miles down the road.
We booked their "Fall Fling" package, which allows you to park your unit at a fixed site for six weeks and use it for six weekends from Labor Day to Columbus Day. The people in the office were very nice when we booked and let us choose from a couple different sites. Once we parked our travel trailer, we found the site to be level and pretty good size, with room for the tow vehicle and another car. All the neighbors were great. There are bathroom/shower facilities throughout the park. The roads were... Read More

There are bathroom/shower facilities throughout the park. The roads were well marked and fairly smooth. We did not use the pool at all. The folks in the office were very, very nice and helpful. We had guests come for a visit and they ended up staying over and they didn't charge us extra, which was awesome. The dump station had room for two rigs to empty out at the same time, with the dumpster right there. Overall this is a really nice place. Great for kids and adults.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Gave us a site next to an overflow site so we could accommodate our motorcycle trailer at N/C. Entertainment was fun and all around us campers were great. Will definitely return!
