Bells Marina is a small campground on Lake Marion with a Hotel, RV Park and Country Store hidden in in an out of the way community. If you're an avid fisherman looking for that big catch or just want to relax with a beautiful view of the lake this is the place for you. Bells Marina is a small campground on Lake Marion with a Hotel, RV Park and Country Store hidden in in an out of the way community. If you're an avid fisherman looking for that big catch or just want to relax with a beautiful view of the lake this is the place for you. I was there for over two (2) months and found the owners and staff to be friendly and accommodating. The property is under new management so the property is going through changes and upgrades with alot of progress being made during the time that I was there. The grounds look good, the hotel rooms are very nice all overlooking the lake with a Gazebo and outside Barbecue area. The RV spots are big, especially the one's on the lake with a fire-pit and picnic tables and I find their prices to be reasonable. They do have a Gas Station and Restaurant which is really convenient and the store carries anything you need from food to bait and tackle. If you're traveling with children outside of fishing they do not have many activities, but they do have Kayaks and a Paddle Boat. They are pet friendly and they have a large grassy area for them to be walked I think they were planning on a dog park soon.
The bathhouse is newly renovated but I find it not very well ventilated and the grounds still need work but overall my stay was good and I met some nice people.
