Checked in today 2July 2019 . No one at the office ,called contact # , 5 minutes later a man showed up said he was digging a ditch . Do not except credit cards only cash or check . All the ratings are one star only because there is nothing lower . There is a hole in the ground that looks like a pool might have been there , no liner ,no concrete , rusted metal band about 3 ft in height . Laundry room was dirty 1 of 2 washers out of order , 2 dryers also will not use . Bathrooms with showers looked... Read More

Site rock & dirt - not level , leaves and larger rocks , trash , Glad we have extension for 30 amp. power cord . This place is barely worth $ 20 a night rather than $50 because of the 4th of July weekend . Could not find anything else in the area . STUCK here for a week ! Put us in your prayers , This place is a dump !!

Owner is very friendly, but campground is very rustic with rundown amenities. Pool has been being refurbished for over a year, but no work seems to be being done. Web site states you can shoot pool but there's no pool table. Will not return,,, ever.

Great place to stay when visiting the Hudson Valley. Close to hiking, biking and activities. We just love it here and spend our summers at SoHi. Try it you'll love it too!

I don't know what the last reviewer is talking about. I have a 40 foot motor home and their are 6-8 sites that I could easily drive into. The others require a bit more skill, but I could fit my motor home into most of them. The staff is ready to help people move in. Flush toilets everywhere! Need I say more? Staff is friendly and eager to help. They work hard. We had issues with the excess water at the small bathrooms, but they were resolved very quickly by the staff. I think some spoiled campers... I think some spoiled campers forget that this is camping, not a Hotel. Many campgrounds have only pit toilets. And the mud is part of the experience. If you don't like it, don't camp in the rain. You can't expect people to clean mud off the floor all day. They'd be doing nothing else. Camp staff had activities, music, entertainment for the kids, and the kids loved it. If your kids didn't maybe it's because you spent the whole vacation complaining about silly things. Try having a good time and a better attitude or go to a hotel next time so that the real campers can have fun.

Ill-kept, broken down, smelly, dirty, rude, dangerous are some words to describe this place. Horrible!

The campground was terrible. No working wifi, the water smelled like sulfer, when you got past the sulfer smell, you began to smell sewage, that was being dumped in a marshy area in the campground. We were there for 4 days, used the bathroom on day 1 and went back on day 4 to brush teeth before we left and nothing had been changed or replenished. The permanent campers were rude and noisy, children up a 6am riding bikes across campsites screaming. The staff was unconcerned with visitors and rude.

Restrooms were dirty, although they were cleaned the next morning. Site had rubber glove and other debris. Difficult to position rig so as to reach the hookups and get level. Overall not very appealing.

Great Campground with plenty to do in camp and locally. The FREE Sunday morning pancake breakfast was delicious and the Ice Cream Social was even better then Breakfast. The BBQs and pot luck dinners were wonderful for meeting fellow campers. Certainly will return to this campground in the future.

When we called to make reservations, the owner was very friendly and offered to help us put together a site seeing tour of New York City. I have a 40' fifth wheel, and the work camper was very friendly and took me around to look at available sites so I could pick one I wanted. The showers by the office have been recently re-tiled and were very nice, the rest of the bathroom is older and not super clean, therefore I gave an overall rating a 3/5. The other bathroom by the non full hookup area had a 5 gallon container mostly full of water under the sink. Most of the people staying there during our stay were seasonal, and some of the sites have overgrown grass and not well kept up. One of the seasonal sites had a dog outside that barked constantly for 30 minutes, so I went to the office, no one there, so I called the number on the information we received when checked in. I got a hold of the owner who was offsite. He suggested I go talk to the owner, but they weren't there. He asked "what could he do since he wasn't there". He suggested I go see another person who I guess was on call. I didn't feel as a customer there, I needed to chase people down for a problem. Overall the dog barked continuously from 5:00 to 6:45 pm other than a 10 minute period where another camper went over to the trailer. The pool wasn't usable during the week we were there - they said the motor had failed and they were working to get the pool usable.

Do not try to take a trailer over 33 feet into this campground. There are no accommodations. Restrooms were filthy. Pool was polluted. Overall appeal of the campground was deplorable.
