Definitely dessert ambiance- but a great place to stay. Pets are welcome. People there are very friendly. Restrooms were spotless. Don’t let the ‘road to nowhere’ deter you because it really is an unusual dessert experience. I would recommend asking for a site on the upper level in back to have a great view of the mountains. Would stay here again.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Dry and cinder rocks yes...but we ARE in the desert! :) the owner/host is very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a large family group and needed additional space; some places we were renting 2 spaces and using tents. This was not recommended with the temps well over a 100. We rented a camping space and a cabin. Everything for the camping space was as good as it gets in the dessert. The cabin was a BIG surprise; it slept 6, was ACed, 2 queen beds, that were made up, a small bath with towels, a small kitchen area to heat things in a microwave, over all A+ and only $70 a night. It was camper friendly,... Read More

It was camper friendly, had ice and at the same price as the grocery store; would recommend it for a quick stop to see the Skywalk.
