This is a Parks Canada National Park facility with Waskesiu Lake right across the street and by the way, you're in the forest. The terrain is flat but with good drainage in the campground. The surrounding are is quite hilly - very picturesque. We stayed at Red Deer RV campground for 4 days. Wonderful site - wide lots, grassy, shade trees and the hookups worked very well although you'll need a long electrical cord. The hookup is 50 amps. The campground is very quiet at night and garbage bins... Read More

The campground is very quiet at night and garbage bins are convenient. The drive through site was easy to navigate. There is a grocery market across the street and the main townsite is within blocks. There is so much to do - hike, swim, canoe, kayak, golf, fishing, tennis, several restaurants and generally good prices. The local Liquor store is well stocked and prices are very good. I can't think of a better campground than this one - it is simply an amazing place - much better than anything in the USA (US$ equivalent is only $40 per night) and has to be one of the top sites in all of Canada.
