My wife and I stayed at Georgia RV park on our way to Hendersonville North Carolina from Gulf Shores Alabama. We called in a reservation and the lady was helpful but somewhat frustrated by the use of a computer during the reservation process. We pick this campground only because we needed a place for the night not because of its Good Sam ratings The sites are gravel, small and somewhat unkempt. My wife and I stayed at Georgia RV park on our way to Hendersonville North Carolina from Gulf Shores Alabama. We called in a reservation and the lady was helpful but somewhat frustrated by the use of a computer during the reservation process. We pick this campground only because we needed a place for the night not because of its Good Sam ratings
The sites are gravel, small and somewhat unkempt. The electric post was loose and there are no accessible circuit breakers to turn off before plugging in.
Upon arrival after hours we figured out which site was hours without assistance as no one was in the office and no directions provided. We had secured a pull through site which is what we set up on. The sites are gravel and somewhat unkept. Most of the campers appear to be long term renters so their camping equipment is in varied conditions.
The bathhouse is old needs updating and dirty. The paint is flaking off the walls and the showers are filthy. We took a chance on the conditions of the facilities based on the Good Sam Club ratings which are more than generous (see our ratings above).
We think Good Sam should either revise their ratings or drop this campground from their catalog.
We will not stay here again and would not recommend it.
