WE ARE BACK. Yep after 5 years we have returned for a one night stay. Just as we posted last time everything is pretty much the same. One thing we didn't mention last time is the self check in. If you are a dis honest person just keep driving. The check in was simple, maps and forms at our fingertips and easy to find a spot with full hook ups. We overlooked the river, hookup was simple. Plenty of water pressure. Electric was no problems. Our 13.6 high motorhome didn't come close to tree... Read More

Everything level and it was once again a joyous stay. Fire pits are here with picnic table, didnt use facilities. We would stay longer if we could. Safe travels!!

I had a great stay at this RV Park. The owner meet me as i was pulling in and escorted me to a site that suited my camper very well. It was quiet and the people i came in contact with was very friendly. I will return to this park when i visit my family in Iowa, God speed with you all.
Here is a little secret that Iowa has kept from us. We did not use the restroom or showers that was on site, however we were pleased to see that the narrow roads fit our 60 feet of RV and dingy without any problems. The pull through was easy to access and depart. Full hook ups was used, water pressure was ample. 50 amps kept us cool in the 80 degree temps. The sites could have been more level, but nothing the RV couldn't handle. If you are group camping the sites are set up so your access doors... Read More

There is also a ADA handicap area. 61 total sites. Now the best part, it is located directly on the Cedar River that has plenty of area to walk our four legged companion. (Please pick up after your pet). You can fish and/or rent a canoe on site. It has a pond for even more fishing if you just have to drown a worm. There is a beach at the pond, but we chose to allow all the geese to continue to use it (no one picks up after gease) There is a small store at the entrance if you need ice or adult beverages. All in all a great little camp ground hidden right in town...who knew?! Happy RVing
