STAY AWAY! This place is a joke. They charged us 70$ for background check and wanted $700/month plus power. The site we are at is unleveled so my husband had to use shovel and move dirt around to be able to so so level it up. No concrete, full of rundown trailers and mobile homes. Unkept, rude and unhelpful management. Our gate card was not activated so first time we left the park after office hours, we couldn't get back in! All we got from the manager was an attitude and no apology. Wanted to... Read More

I feel guilty leaving this rating because the folks who run Tall Pines are nice. That being said, this is an OLD trailer park. AND THERE IS NO SEPTIC HOOK UP. The bath houses are adequate and clean, the camp store is stocked, the pool is clean, but because of the multitude of old trailers, the park looks old and shabby. This is because 95% of Tall Pines is permanent/seasonal folks. Some of these trailers are OLD and look extremely run down. Some are very well kept. It's hit or miss. Some... Read More

Some yards are junky and have leaning tin sheds; some yards are tidy. There is apparently no restriction on how many out buildings and lawn ornaments. And did I mention there's no septic hookup? There's a dump station on site, and bath houses and rest rooms. But any RVer knows that to dump you have to unhook. Who wants to do that every 3-4 days? The park is only 20 minutes from Rehoboth, which was perfect. And Hopkins Farm Ice Creamery is closeby, which is nice if you don't mind waiting 20 minutes for a farm-fresh ice cream cone while holding your nose because of the manure smell. Tall Pines has spotty, slow wifi. And if you want to watch cable TV, the office requires you to put a $30 refundable deposit down for a cable box. We really did enjoy our stay at Tall Pines, it's just not what we expected AT ALL. Their website did not mention no septic . . . Did I mention there's no septic hookup?

Very nice campground with easy access for back in sites. Water, Cable and 50 amp service with dump station on-site. Bathrooms were very clean with plenty of hot water. Camp store on site. Within 20 minutes of the Ocean and Rehoboth Beach. We would definitely stay here again.
