We stayed at Highland woods for 7 months, lot 116. This was our home for the school year. Our experience was positive. Their are a lot of improvements underway as all the buildings are getting a fresh coat of paint, patios that were in need of repair have been torn out and replaced, pool has been updated with new tile. The staff was excellent to deal with for the entire stay. Due to Covid the office was closed to the public but all our paperwork was easily accessible at the office. Please note when... Read More

The staff was excellent to deal with for the entire stay. Due to Covid the office was closed to the public but all our paperwork was easily accessible at the office. Please note when you arrive at Highland Woods the office is next door to the West. One note is that on some sites the utilities are on the opposite side that we are expecting and most sewer hookups are under your unit. All in all I would recommend this park and would stay here again when i visit So. Florida. The beaches are amazing. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and even a Wal-Mart down the street. This campground is an utter disgrace. No Good Sam discount. No WiFi (according to the unhelpful staff). The campground is next door to Breezy Hill RV Resort and is run by them. Highland Woods is almost derelict, almost empty, and is the worst campground I've ever visited. There are no pull throughs. The sewer pipe is under the motorhome once we'd disconnected the trailer and backed in. Electric and water are on the wrong side of the vehicle. I would recommend that Good Sam remove this campground... Read More
