This is a very pleasant state park on the Snake River. We felt very comfortable, park hosts and rangers were wonderful. About a 1/2 mile from I-84 exit. Some sites may experience road noise, we did not. Train noise off in the far distance, not disruptive. Restrooms got a 3 from me, these facilities were convenient, clean, and I had plenty of hot water - my wife had luke-warm water. Most state parks get a 1 or 2 from me and seldom higher than a 3. Our site had plenty of privacy, we never felt... Read More

My husband, my son and I stayed for a week during the first week of August. The water on the Snake was down so fishing was not great, however we still did pretty well. Camp host was great! The restrooms were clean and private showers in the catfish loop. We will stay again. Be aware, there is very limited shade in the lower camp loop (Catfish Loop). Catfish Loop has large pull through and back in spaces for large Motor coaches, We had a 60 ft paved space. Camp ground was not busy it made for a quiet... Read More

I came here in early March for just one night. It was fine for that. It looks like a nice park, well kept and all, but I wasn't there for anything but a night's rest. Was very grateful after driving all day that it was there. There were only 2 or 3 other RVs in the camp. It's not too far off of 84, had self-registration, pick your own spot. Each site has electric and water, no sewer. There is a dump station and it also has a fresh water spigot to fill up with. Spaces were not crowded together, so... Read More

The worst thing was I had no cell service there, no signal. I'm on ATT so maybe Verizon would work, don't know. Was OK for just the night, but wouldn't want to be there a week without service and they had no wifi. Oh, and it was $24 for the night, not $17-22.
