When I checked in, the young man behind the desk was not wearing a mask. As I was paying my fees, a lady employee walked in without a mask. This is a small and tight RV park, many (at least 20) are full time renters. One guy has a motorhome with a wood burning stove in the RV. It ran all day and night, the smoke was blowing in my windows. He has 2 other vehicles and parks one in front of his RV making it almost impossible to get in and out of our space. One of our neighbors (also full time) sit outside and smoke a lot and it too was blowing in our windows. There are freight trains about 100 feet away that run 24/7 at 30 minute intervals, you cannot get any sleep here. The grounds were clean, there is a nice area for pets. Price was too much for what you get. If you cross the river at the Hood River Bridge, fold your mirrors in! This is a narrow bridge.

We arrived late, had a pull through at the very front of the park. The sign on the main highway was literally across road and the gas station was directly in front of truck. In morning called to see if another spot open because noise from highway kept us awake even when air-con on. Also, there was enough room for a picnic table on a rocky area - not enough room to set up 3 camp chairs. Also, stated no campfires and while walking dogs after pulling in saw 2 site with fairly large campfires. We requested a refund but no avail. We pulled out first thing Friday morning after a sleepless night and elsewhere. The photos make place look nice, roomy but it is not. If you don't sit at picnic table provided you don't sit on anything. We would not have been able to put our awning put as anyone driving by would have clipped our awning.

Super nice spot. Very convenient to all things Columbia River Gorge. Restrooms and camp grounds were very clean. Just spent a week the and had a great time. Thx!

We stayed here one night on short notice. They were very helpful during our stay. Very good customer service. The park is extremely clean. Sites are nice, with grass and good hookups. Our site was nice and level. There is a large dog walking area down below the camp ground but you aren't supposed to let them off a leash. Still, that area is so secluded and away from everything else that it really isn't a problem. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is the internet didn't work well, they didn't have an enclosed area for the dogs to be off leash and the whole park is kind of small and cramped. Made it a bit difficult to get in and out of with our 40' MH and tow. Overall a very clean and updated park with great service. P.S. If you are going to cross the Columbia River into Washington then I highly suggest you don't do it on the Hood River bridge! This bridge was built in the 1920's I believe and it is VERY skinny. MHs and large trailers should NOT be going on it. The guy told us it was a bad idea but we could not turn around because of traffic and our tow. We were very lucky to have gotten across without scraping the side or losing our mirrors. According to the toll booth person, people lose mirrors there everyday. You can go up the road about 10 minutes from Hood River and there is a wider bridge. Wish we would have known.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners and staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They were completely full each time we have been here but the park is still quiet other than the train that passes through occasionally (I personally find that sound comforting). The proximity to the River was a plus and there's easy travel to area attractions like the Bonneville Dam, the Dalles, hiking trails, fishing and the restaurants in the town nearby. There's a convenience store next store that carries most things you would need and the office sold some RV supplies. The bathrooms and laundry room were above average. We saw eagles nesting in a tree across the road - very nice ! The sites are close but adequate for our slides and awning with space. We would definitely stay here again.

Don't know how this park rates a 10 as indicated on their website. Our siite was uphill, not enough blocks to drive up on. They failed to mention the train that goes by just below the park, very loud. The road from I-84 goes across a bridge that costs $4 in toll and is so narrow the toll taker recommended I fold in mirrors. The reckless truck driver coming at me in my lane caused me to pull over as far as I could and stop, praying he would not hit me as he recklessly sped by over the 25 mph speed limit. I don't know how we didn't get hit. This kind of stress a person does not need after driving all day.

This is a nice clean park and seems to be the only one close to Hood River, Oregon. The park hosts were fabulous and very helpful. I do not recommend going over the Hood River bridge with your trailer if you can avoid it. It is very narrow. There are 2 other wider bridges to the east and west that are better! It is a little noisy due to proximity to the train tracks and a busy road. Our campsite was very nice with a great grassy area to spread out to.

Great staff very helpful. Nice little park close to the Columbia River Bridge for easy access to Hood River Oregon..very narrow bridge don't recommend taking RV's across. Recommend going to the Bridge of the Gods or the Dalles Bridge. Space's were nice but tight. Right off Highway and have trains runs thru back of park. We had a wonderful stay and will return next year. Highly recommend you make Reservations early as they do fill up.

Beautifully kept up park. Grassy sites, level, good Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Close to Hood River, OR and the fruit loop tour. Have stayed here 3 times before and will stay again.

Great little park! We stayed for one night to explore the area. The park is well maintained, sites and roads are paved. It is close to the road and the train tracks, but we weren't bothered by the noise. I highly recommend following the directions on their website and not your GPS. The Hood river bridge is very narrow and would have been a "nail biter" in the RV.

From Jct of I-84 & Exit 64 (Hood River Bridge, in OR): Go 1 mi N across toll bridge to SR-14, then 1/8 mi E on SR-14 (R). Warning: Bridge has 9ft wide lanes.
