Appeal Rating It was a beautiful looking campground...plenty of trees in a wooded setting. Our site backed up to Patrick's Point Road and had a lot of road noise during the day but wasn't noticeable at night. Our site was also extremely narrow. Our neighbors were very loud and because the site was so tight I could easily hear them talking. They also looked like they had been staying there for quite some time as they had lots of stuff all around outside. If I stayed here again I would reserve a pull through site and and request to be further back in the campground. I liked that they had a large recycling area for plastics, glass and paper.

Overall Rating Facility Rating Restroom Rating Appeal Rating Beautiful setting but if you are expecting a quiet campground, you likely will be disappointed. Staff is friendly and efficient but rules for quiet time, dogs on leashes, etc aren't really enforced. More than once we've listened to RVers crank up their music or party into the night. Beautiful forest campground but the operators have let the more obnoxious RVers - especially groups - ruin it for others.

Overall Rating Facility Rating Restroom Rating Appeal Rating We stayed in space number 5 for a week and liked it so much that we extended for another week. We enjoyed walking on several of the beaches near Trinidad. We have relatives in the area, so we did not spend too much time in the park. If you go there, check out the small cafe near the pier in Trinidad - they serve a good clam chowder. The laundry and bathroom fixtures need updating and that is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars across the board.
