One of the nicest parks that we have ever stayed at. The sites are NOT big at all but enough room to have your RV and your tow vehicle. Have plenty of extra parking for additional cards. Target and Costco are right across the street. Easy access to Portland, only 20 minutes to get downtown. Staff is super friendly. Indoor pool is fairly small. Has a large field in back of the office to let kids play with a small playground. Clean laundry (plenty of space) and it takes card and coins. Stayed for 1 week. Great spot to get in and out of Portland. Didn't see many "full timers" in this park.

Sun Outdoors Portland South (formerly Pheasant Ridge) is the 70th stop for us and we stayed for 7 nights. Very convenient to I-5 (limited road noise) and downtown Portland, you get a positive feel when you first pull in with the green spaces (for dogs) as well as the nice office area. The host doing the check in was very nice and they worked with me when I had a package arrive before we did. The interior roads are a bit tight (38 ft. Class A) and the concrete slabs are a bit narrow but the sites are generally level. There are mature trees, farmland and woods around you even though there is a Costco/Target/PetSmart shopping center just across the street. The buildings are very clean and they have numerous dog stations. For connectivity in the morning: T-Mobile 9.7 down/7.0 up WiFi 7.5 down/18.9 up Verizon 84 down/5.3 up. Overall, would rate a 4.6.

We spent four nights at the park. The park does look nice and is well kept. The park is average at best to get to (driving motorhome and towing vehicle) and not super easy to get into and out of. The spaces are close together. We had about 8 feet we could call ours and that was on somewhat of a hill. The pad's for parking are small. We could barely fit a 32' motorhome and jeep in one space. It was quiet - a big plus. We did not use any of the facilities or pool.

This is our 2nd stay at this facility, and both times have been pleasant and enjoyable. The site pads are a little small for both our 35ft. 5th wheel AND tow vehicle, but we did manage to squeeze them both in. It looks like many of the larger trailers need to park their tow vehicles in a separate lot. Larger sites are available, but we did not have any problems navigating the facility nor pulling into our spot. All mechanicals worked perfectly, and the park is VERY nicely landscaped and maintained. Overall, we enjoyed being close to numerous amenities with only a short drive into the city.

The campground is very clean. Spaces are very close. The dog run is nice although very small. We could not pull through with our towed Jeep with a 26 ` RV without detaching. It was nice to have lots of dog poop stations around the park. Nice and close to freeway.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone traveling through or full timing. It appears to be nice but once you've stayed more than a week you understand it's not. This place isn't a `resort', having a pool doesn't qualify a resort by any standards but were told they have a pool so they are a resort. Terrible & rude staff lacking customer service. One maintenance man always waved and smiled & one lady in the office was helpful & respectful during our stay. The rest of the staff never did act as if they were in the hospitality industry. Most pads are narrow, we were told because the park is old and designed for RV's from the early 90's and not for larger rigs. Many pads we saw were littered cigarette butts including ours during our stay. When we arrived our power meter was completely broken, & full of water. The roads between spaces are very narrow and difficult to get in and out of our space. We stepped out into a muddy mess right out your door. This is unavoidable due to lack of wider pads. During our stay there they three different incidents of theft and attempted unlawful entry into RV's. We also saw police coming through while taking our dog for his late night walk on three different occasions with their lights on. The park kept our deposit for no reason from us, we had to cut our stay short due to family. We talked to others this happened to also. We were paid up and paid final electric & were told they were still keeping our deposit. No place to sit outside at your site is allowed unless you can squeeze a chair on your pad with your rig and RV. The machines are not maintained at the laundry & leaves clothes dirty, they even came out of the machine dirtier than they went in. During business hours they run a gas powered leaf blower to gather the pine needles along with other equipment so the grounds are kept but if you're looking for peace & quiet you won't find it here. We were in a pull through for the first part of our stay and a "premium" back in for the second part of our stay. The premium spot backed up to the fire station & equipment maintenance yard which is very loud. The pine needles, pine cones and sap were very damaging to slides & awnings of not just our rig but others we spoke to during our stay. The wifi is spotty in most spots and they do not like you to use the recreation room. Out of all the parks we have traveled to across the country & also in Canada this is by far our worst experience. They are also increasing their rates over $600 a month to over $1300. The weekly & daily is also increasing to $490 for a weekly "premium" space and $74 a night. From our experience it's not worth it. There are other very nice RV parks in the Portland and surrounding area for half the price and the same amenities we will stay at in the future.

Incredibly rude, inconsiderate staff and owner. Staying just one night? You will be treated well. Staying multiple months you are a second class citizen. Lied to us about charges and the back in list. One day there's 2 ahead of us, a week later there's 5. Pine needles EVERYWHERE so be prepared to sweep your roof off. Roads and spaces so narrow a guy scraped the front of our rig because he was trying not to hit the tree on his other side! The only staff that has been consistently kind is landscaping. May get heat stroke in pool area as you get yelled at for cracking the door and we have been told we can't even have water, yes even in a plastic container.

Made reservation first week of April, staying two nights on two different days. Price of reservation for first night was $51.00 five days later I return for 2nd stay and find the price is $71.00 for the same requested site. Unknown to me the software they use to make reservation elected to put me in a high end site. I was staying one night and leaving early the next morning. the counter staff were hot too willing to change site, since they were "sold out" I refused to pay the price and asked for a reduction and I would stay in the site they had assigned me. No, they would not do that, but miraculously found another site about five away from the original site they had assigned. the sold out statement was false, since early the next morning while walking the dog I counted over six empty sites. They need to change there reservation software so that it is more interactive with their guest. I would stay here again but would be super cautious on the on line reservation - better that you call.

Stayed 4 nights in our travel trailer, in a back in spot. The spot is wide enough for the trailer, and an extra car to park alongside. Internet, TV and full services. Bathrooms and laundry are modern and clean. Park is nicely laid out, shady, paved. Lot's of full timers, but a very big park with turnover. The only suggestion I would make is to come up with a better process for cancellations, so we could know if another night was possible. This park is towards the high end of pricing, but a nice park.

Clean campground but no picnic tables or fire rings. The office staff is just flat rude. I made a reservation weeks earlier and found that we would arrive in a day early. I called to ask if there was a chance of getting in a day early and the lady on the phone was extremely rude. She could have just said I am sorry we are full tonight. Nope, she berated me and said I have to stick to my reservation. Upon check-in, I was 30 minutes early. The front desk lady continued to be just as rude in person. "In the future do not arrive before 1130". Newsflash- I won't be back. Our site was vacant, does it really cause an issue if we are 30 minutes early?

Not real sure why several of the ratings are low but we have found our stay here very pleasant and enjoyable. We are full timers and have been here the last five months. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I will admit for larger rigs it is a bit tight. We have a 41' 5th wheel and are in a back-in site. We have no problem parking our tow vehicle next to the RV and have room to get in and out of the RV. We do not have pets so can not comment other then the staff did send and post notices that several folks were not picking up after there pets and a few were not keeping there dogs on a leash. I am glad they sent the notice, nothing like taking a walk and stepping in a mess. Restrooms are very clean as well as the pool area. Office/store has a fair amount of goods and supplies. As others have mentioned, shopping is just across the road, Target, Costco, Starbucks and several other stores. Camping world just across the freeway.

Stayed here for a weekend while visiting my sister in Willsonville. Spots are small, staff is rude. Parked behind my pull thru site for 10 minutes while collecting clothes to spend a night with my sister & had one lady call the office & say I was blocking the road!! And don't even think of putting chairs on the grass!!! I would NEVER stay in this park again!! Camping world is across the freeway & I will stay in there lot before I would ever stay in this over rated rude park again!!! Yes the grounds are well maintained but this place is not worth $55.00 a night!!!

An attractive and very well-kept park with knowledgeable staff. We had no trouble getting into and out of our site with our 42 ft motorcoach. We had a back-in site with a level concrete pad. It was pretty cramped. Had to pull the car in tightly beside the coach so that the passenger door was not accessible. Site too short to park the car in front of the coach. Not much room for outdoor chairs or BBQ except behind the coach. We weren't there much as we were visiting family in the area so this worked fine for us. Park wifi was good and able to get good satellite connection. Park itself pretty quiet but for occasional dog barking. Very convenient to I-5 but some traffic noise. We'll stay here again when visiting family.

Park is very very clean and neat. The laundry facilities are all brand new, and clean. There are enough washers and dryers for everyone. Did not use the pool, but it is an indoor pool and looked nice. Also, do not use showers, because we have our own in our Motor Home. Staff is very nice. I know others said this park is not pet friendly, but I did not find that at all. We had our dog with us, and there were lots of dogs here. They have a small grassy area for dogs with 3 different bag holders/trash cans for waste. There are LOTS of dog parks close by, so if you need to run your dog, there are plenty of options. This park is close to everything! Target across the street, office depot, petsmart, etc. Spots are very close together. Partial shade. Our spot is 125, be careful because some spots backup to the main road, and are probably noisy from the traffic. Must see is the Tollen Farm where they raise mini donkeys. Just a 10 minute drive from park.

Nice clean Park. However, for our 45' RV the streets are narrow. In fact this is the first park we have ever stayed in the even though we had a pull through site, we had to back out onto a slightly wider road to get out when leaving. We stayed 2 nights and arrived home after dark each night after being with family during the day. There are no street lights so it was hard finding our site in the darkness. Another very strange thing is in the brochure it has in big letters "NO MACERATORS!" Well, good luck with that as that is our only way to dump so I did. I didn't feel guilty as if they had said something when we called for reservations we would have stayed elsewhere. Another complaint we had was that almost all the sites are terraced. But only a few were terraced enough to allow chairs along the side of your RV. Most people had to put their chairs out in front or behind their RV in order to have somewhere to sit. No picnic tables. Most of the Park is well shaded which was nice. Wifi was decent as was the cable TV. Both were included in the basic cost. Would probably stay here again only next time would be sure to have a regular sewer hose.

The park is very clean, staff was very friendly. Nearly all spots are pull thru. The actual sites are pretty small but wasn't planning on hanging there all day anyway. Shower room and pool area always appeared clean. Cost for area is reasonable. Lots of shopping nearby, Camping world is on other side of I5 about 2 miles. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever head back to visit family will think of staying again. On another note, You are close enough to I5 you may hear it. Didn't really bother us but figured i would throw that out there.

Would not give this park all 10's for ratings. The main problem is they have one set of restrooms for 133 sites (at least 266 people). I have my own hot spot so I don't use their wifi, but it looks very ineffective on other reviews. My experience with the staff was very positive. They were friendly and helpful. Guess it depends on who you talk to.

RVers who need good WIFI should camp elsewhere. Pheasant Ridge would have easily been a four (or even five) star RV park if the managers were to invest in their digital infrastructure. Like many other RV parks, the wireless internet/WIFI was set up years ago and left alone. The current design is akin to the entire city block connecting to a single residential home wireless router. One of their consumer-grade routers showed over 200 connected devices. The park WIFI no longer serve even the most basic internet needs. To compensate, the park offers weak ** ANALOG ** cable TV signal for your entertainment. Pun intended. Tip #1: We were able to stream movies in HD from a Comcast Xfinity hotspot ~0.8 miles east of the park (with our WIFI extender gear). Tip #2: Use your TV antenna to pick up a dozen free local channels in ** HD **.

Pheasant Ridge is overrated!! We will never stay there again! Their customer service is dreadfully poor...the complacent staff are rude and almost insolent, a waste of their time to wait on you. Park rules are not equally adjudicated. The park is overcrowded with small spaces and marginal maneuver room. There are no real amenities to speak of, certainly none that would draw us back. This is a waste of 10-10-10 ratings!

We chose this facility because it is conveniently close to the VA Hospital. Very disappointed! The WiFi did not work, the cable TV did not work, the staff seemed to have a "so what" attitude about that. The walking trail was barricaded, so the only area to walk was on the road. Did not see any reasonable pet areas. We were warned that we were not permitted to step off the parking pad, leaving only a few feet to set up chairs, not comfortable at all! Extremely disappointed, will NOT ever stay there again!

The overall facility is clean and near shopping, but IT IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. There are a lot of signs that tell you where you cannot take your pet, but no signs telling you where you can take them. The only pet area is a small un-fenced area in front of the office and did not provide any dog bags. You are not even allowed to take your dog on the hiking trail. No space to sit outside and tight cramped pull through areas. No recycle bins. The hosts were not helpful at all and did not offer any alternative areas where you could give your pets some exercise. You could not register online and get a confirmation. Bottom line is our dogs are our family and we would never stay in this RV park again.

It was very expensive for what they offered, we had no other option/place to stay. They were NOT helpful at all for sightseeing or shopping nearby as we had never camped there or in Oregon before. There is NO wifi or internet even if we sat in front of their office. The washrooms were too far to walk to as there is only one building. The "pool" is indoor (it was atleast 85-90 outside so why would we want to sit indoors at a pool?) and the building was about 90+ inside so- it was out of the question. The sites are very small and tight to get into, even the pull thru's are tight. There is nowhere else nearby to camp. The office staff were rude, not friendly and didn't even know the area for giving directions! There is a noisy Firehall right next door and a busy street out front. We will never stay there again nor would I ever recommend it. It made our first trip to the Oregon area unpleasant. We missed out on so much to see as they had to information to give out. They are rude, miserable and unfriendly and it was way too much money to waste staying there! I have no idea how it has such a high rating. People do not come outside- they hide in their trailers in the A/C? Too many rules and not enough hospitality!
