This was a wonderful little campground. The owners couldn't have been nicer. Pull through site was level. The campground was very clean. The Wifi actually worked in our trailer. The location is wonderful for visiting the different National and State Parks. Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef are all within driving distance. The laundry facility looked brand new. There is a taco truck near the entrance that has really good food. The only negative I could mention is that there wasn't a pool. It would have been nice to take a dip after a long day in site seeing in the desert. We will be staying here again.

Perfect base location to discover Bryce, Capitol Reef and even Zion. But don't overlook the Staircase, Burr Trail, Red Canyon, Hell's Backbone. Lower Bowns, Lower Calf Creek, Escalante River, Upper Box, Spooky & Peek-A-Boo, Dry Forks, Covered Wagon Natural Bridge, Cedar Wash Arch.... Hike Them All! Book several days and you'll still want more. Campground is the perfect, intimate space with full hook-ups, immaculate laundry room and showers. Walking distance to all of Escalante's finest restaurants, Georgie's is actually on the property! And did I mention the superior customer service? Owners offer campers the very best in Utah hospitality. Have you booked yet?

Level gravel pull through sites with numerous mature shade trees, spotless recently renovated washrooms, showers, and laundry. Short walk to interesting and historic downtown Escalante and Interagency Visitor Center. Sits in the middle of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument with loads of opportunities for backroad desert and mountain exploration.

Helpful friendly staff with good local knowledge. He recommended a great restaurant and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. We stayed for three nights while exploring the back roads and hiking Grand Staircase Escalante and surrounding area. Unfortunately there was a pile of sand next to our site which took away from the overall appeal.
