Sites are privately-owned. Some are well-designed and maintained, with patios, fire pits and decent outdoor furniture. Many others are not, are in poor condition, with little more than deteriorated wood picnic tables. Some of the sites, including some of the waterfront sites lack privacy. And a few of the waterfront sites are not suitable for pets or young children because the decks over the water are not secure. Because the sites are privately-owned, you cannot change sites. The roads are in poor condition, the bathrooms are old, deteriorated, and not maintained. The grounds are cluttered, and a couple of areas were taped off for construction that did not seem to be progressing. This place might have been nice in the past (it has two large pool decks-albeit with unheated pools), but except for some of the individual sites, there is nothing appealing about this place except its location. The owners association or management company should make the necessary investment to upgrade the grounds and facilities and establish better site quality standards. We were so disappointed that we left two days early.

First, destination of Hilton Head is always awesome! We stayed at the park for three weeks in November and enjoyed the stay. The most stressful but different part of the experience was to pull up, be given a map and a golf cart to pick out what site we wanted. Not an easy task at all and saw everyone else struggle with this task typically driving around for 10-15 minutes. I did get to choose a great spot (139) but during the process was wishing they just assigned me to one. In the end, it was all... Read More

In the end, it was all good. If you like mature landscaping with many sites having great privacy and shade, then this place is for you. I have posted some pictures to illustrate this. Overall, the park was nice though some of the facilities are aging a bit and needed attention and some pads had cracked concrete and were not level and collected storm water. The grounds keeping staff were very good, especially with all the leaves coming down (plus a few storms with wind) and would keep the streets, common area and pads cleared. One strange happening while there was the removal of a long line of hedges that separated the marina/office from the campsites. Removing them exposed a number of sites to the entrance and office with no privacy. To get to the beaches, you have to drive however, Folly Field beach and Fish Haul (wow!) is where we went. Location is nice as you are on the island but just across the bridge from historic Bluffton. You are connected to a marina and we went on the dolphin tour which was incredible and worth it. Lastly, there has been tension and an ongoing lawsuit that has resulted in some 5th wheels and other trailers disallowed or reservations cancelled. Check before you book to avoid any surprises. In the future we may look at two other parks before reserving with this one - a motor coach resort in mid-island and a new park opening in 2021 in Bluffton. But still, this is a nice park.

After a difficult booking process (terrible website), I finally booked (and got written confirmation) for my upcoming stay. I booked several weeks in advance, and am coming from out of state. Today, they called me and said they were canceling my reservation because the owner of the space has decided they are coming. With one week to go, there is nowhere else available everything is booked solid for spring break! Where am I supposed to go now? I guess I'll be spending my vacation in the Cracker Barrel... The campground was really nice, however we made a reservation for September and were told that they no longer accept travel trailers or 5th wheels over 35 feet that have slideouts. That essentially eliminates just about everyone. We know a few others that had reservations and those reservations were cancelled last week because of the new rules, without explanation... Very bad for business and im very angry that they did this.. Doubt ill ever go again!!!

What a great place! We enjoyed the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The store, restaurant, docks, laundry, exercise room were top quality. The sites and the views are spectacular. When we checked in they gave us a golf cart to go and "pick our site." We got a site from which we could see the water from the RV rear window or from the beautifully landscaped site. Sites are differently landscaped with different amenities but palm trees/palmettos/live oaks are found in each area.... Read More

Our site had a patio table with chairs, fountain, fire pit and raised landscaping bed. Peaceful quiet park. We hope to come back again and stay longer!

Best campground we have stayed at! The sites in the park are privately owned and are leased out when the owners are away. This would explain the high quality. The sites are back in, level concrete pads - we have a 33' travel trailer and there is ample room to do so. They are private, well shaded and beautifully landscaped with some sites right on the water. The internet and TV reception is excellent! There is a children's play ground away from the sites allowing them to play with out disturbing... Read More

Pets are welcome and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I can't say enough about how much we liked the park and location. If there was a higher rating than 10, we would give it!

This is a beautiful well-maintained privately owned RV resort. The only place we will stay on HHI. Very restful and relaxing. Nice shade trees.

We stayed at the park for a week in March of this year. The park was wonderful, clean and quiet. Hilton Head Island, on the other hand has horrible traffic which makes the trip from I-95 to the park a "White Knuckle" adventure. Once at the resort, however, its nice, well maintained, and relaxing. Advice- Go down into town only sparingly and at off hours. Most times its difficult to make a left out of the resort.

The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the escort to our site with the offer to help guide us in if we needed it. The location is great, a 'relatively' short bike ride to the beach and instant access to riding paths. We loved the fact that each site was personalized to its owner, a nice touch. Overall facilities very well kept.

RV park is adjacent to marsh and open water as well as just past the bridge over to Hilton Head Island. The waterfront sites overlook the marina and the inter-coastal waterway. The sites are privately owned and each are hardscaped/ landscaped according to owner's wishes. We stayed in the outer loop in the 40's with a nice rock ledge, fire pit, concrete and pavers pad, small islated seating area and nice table and chairs. When you arrive, you are given a map and a golf cart to pick out a vacant site... We stayed in the outer loop in the 40's with a nice rock ledge, fire pit, concrete and pavers pad, small islated seating area and nice table and chairs. When you arrive, you are given a map and a golf cart to pick out a vacant site (which is not always easy to do, they are all nice and well kept) All roads are paved. Pads are all level, concrete or pavers. Campground is very quiet; staff remove trash almost immediately, they are always cleaning and maintaining the sites and roadways. They have 2 swimming pools and a hot-tub that were very clean, which one is right on the water for a great view. Play ground, horse shoe pit, basketball court, tennis court, exercise room, small nick-knack store. Restaurant on site that I understand is really good food, did not eat there. The WIFI was not working at the site, but we were told that a new updated system was being installed in January. The cable was great. The island has a lot to see and do, nice shops and great golf courses. Would recommend bikes, and riding the nature preserves. We will be back again, prices in the $50's with discounts on longer stays.
