This is a basic KOA which is fine. There are basic sites, roomier sites, mostly level sites, etc. There's a nice playground area for the kids. The staff are courteos and helpful. The reason for only a 3 star review is the extremely low water pressure. The campground is mostly empty, I'd hate to be there when it's full. Next, and totally out of their control is the rock blasting and road construction work. There is noise almost 24/7 from construction activity blasting of rocks that sounds like a thunderstorm approaching, trucks being loaded with rocks, back up beeps from construction vehicles, some of this at 2, 3, 4 in the morning. That being said we would stay here again if these two areas of concern have been improved.

I receive an email May 10th cancelling my reservation. ???? I work 11 hour days with no way to make personal calls, so I have my wife call. They make a reservation for her. I receive email confirmation of the reservation. It's Not a Deluxe site. I email them about 7am 5/11. I receive no response. I call about 9pm and leave a message on 5/11. On 5/12 I receive an email response. The best I can understand is someone wanted my Deluxe site longer than I did, so I got booted off. They had however, booked me an end site (66) with a nice grassy area they assured me I would like. I looked at the map. I'm not happy, but I can deal with it. I email back, I am far from happy, I don't understand, but if you'll assure me that you won't give site 66 to someone else, I'll see you in July. May 13th I receive an email that they can't assure me site 66??????? I book a Deluxe site 9 months in advance, get this taken away, and they won't even promise me the site they move me to?????? I've never had a campground or KOA treat me this way. I said to immediately cancel my reservation. They failed to comply with our agreement and I better receive a Full Refund of my deposit.
