This is a lovely campground with well shaded sites, friendly staff, with electric and water available at most sites. This campground is built on the side of a hill/mountain, so you will have to be prepared to walk up and down the roadways to get to the toilet/shower rooms, at roughly 6000' feet of elevation. This campground is built on the side of a hill/mountain, so you will have to be prepared to walk up and down the roadways to get to the toilet/shower rooms, at roughly 6000' feet of elevation. We had to use portable electric heaters to keep warm here, as the night time temperatures dipped into the 40's. The electric outlets available at our site are shared between two campsites. The electric available for two sites is a 20 amp service. We were traveling with other relatives who occupied the site next to ours. They had an electric ceramic heater and we had the same. We could not operate both heaters without tripping the circuit breaker. We talked to the owner/staff about the problem and they installed a set of jumper cables on the electric outlets serving both sites which did solve the problem. They were very accommodating in providing the jumper cables and solving the problem. I have not seen before the use of a common electric service shared between two sites usually each site has its own individual electric service box with separate wiring to avoid the problems associated with sharing services on a small 20 amp feed. With the use of small appliances becoming more common, this can lead to some problems with a shared service.

Management and staff were friendly and helpful. Great assistance for both camp and area. Very private sites - all wooded. A little rustic which is to our preference yet most if not all RV sites had water and electricity.
