This campground is convenient, and was fine for a simple overnight stay as we were heading towards Oregon. We made our reservation online as we drove, and it was fairly simple to choose a site as there were quite a few available. This campground is convenient, and was fine for a simple overnight stay as we were heading towards Oregon. We made our reservation online as we drove, and it was fairly simple to choose a site as there were quite a few available. The campground is a city ground, and adjacent to the grounds and facility where an annual rodeo is held. It is a simple, flat campground - there are some trees, and the sites are average sized for that type of ground. The restroom facilities were very "tired" looking and dark - toilets and sinks were on the backside of a brick building, and the lighting was very, very dim. The stalls and sinks looked like they hadn't been tended to very well. The showers' entrances were on the front of the building - I never got to see the showers because they were locked when I went to use them at 7:30 a.m. the next morning. I was told by the camp host that the city unlocks the showers (which are locked overnight to keep unregistered folks from stopping by and using them), and that the attendant usually arrives around 8:00 a.m. to do that. I waited until 8:15 a.m. , but the attendant still hadn't shown up and we needed to hit the road for our next destination. When we pulled out of our site at 9:00 a.m., the attendant was just arriving. Campground rules are posted on a large bulletin board by the restroom building - it was clearly stated that dogs needed to be on a leash at all times, but there were a several campers who were allowing their dogs to run freely on their sites and into other sites the entire time we were there. The quiet hours were also clearly stated on the board, however, the adult campers across from us sat outside their RV talking and laughing loudly until about 1:00 a.m. (3 hours after the posted 10:00 pm quiet time.) I'm guessing that because this is a ground run by the city, the rule enforcement is not quite as strict as a private campground's would be. We have stayed in many campgrounds throughout the country, some that have Good Sam ratings and some that do not. I was honestly very surprised that this was a Good Sam ground - it didn't meet the expectations that I've seen at other Good Sam grounds. Maybe Good Sam needs to take a 2nd look at this one...

I have been to this park several times in my travels. This time i was really upset as of all the Non RVers using the restrooms during the night!! I was woke up at like 230 AM with "Kids" yelling and running all around the restrooms area. parents were literally Yelling at them loudly. This went on for like 20 Mins. I was for sure not going to say anything as I was alone and am 78 yrs Old!! Do not the Police go thru during the night? I really like the park!! Mike
