We got last minute reservations during two regional events and were happy just to have a place to stay. We were there to tour the area, as opposed to staying there resort style. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The store was well stocked with essentials. The bar was not open much, I think they’re missing income by not being open more. The bathrooms were clean, the showers were better than average. They have banks of private bathrooms which appear to be newer, and a communal option at the office, probably left over from before it was a KOA. The locals say KOA has only owned it for a few years.
The wi-fi is practically non-existent, but we were advised of this in advance and had another option prepared. Note: any wi-fi based on cell towers (like Travlfi,) will be slow and interrupted during peak use hours.
The camp was quiet after dark and VERY quiet in the morning. We stayed by the pools and office which made us aware of the kids playing in the water, but it wasn’t bad. And it stopped when the sun went down.
Not every site has sewer hookup, and the sites for the larger RVs have no privacy between them, but it’s a decent and well run facility.
We would probably look for a more “woodsy” resort on our next visit to the area, but would not hesitate to stay here again if availability dictated it.

Very nice facility. Office/store was very well stocked. Several pools that looked to be a kiddieland extravaganza. We were located away from the main area, but no worries, there was a wonderful building near our site that had showers, rest rooms, and laundry. And the laundry is CHEAP... very affordable to use. The showers and rest rooms were immaculate. Level pull through site with full hookups. Wifi was not guaranteed to work by front desk, due to us being so far away from the main building but... Just arrived and we are told there is NO wifi. And won't be perhaps all season. They claim they advertise that it is limited Wi-Fi but I can find no evidence of that on their website or the good Sam site. Why they would call it limited when there is none is a mystery to me.
