Came in one day early to stay a week. Nobody available for help (2:00pm in the afternoon on weekday) in the office. One full-timer said between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm. That changed from 10:00 to 1:00 I don't think anybody knew for certain..... Called a number at the front door and was told to take this site, or that site, go here, go there, but no map available and park is too big to just cruise through with a rig and trailer, specially if your not an winter snow bird coming back to roost. Finally picked a site and set up. Manager cruised by 2 days later and said how great the park is, the price is this, then that and the last day is free if you stay a week. He seemed all over the place, but then charged the full rate after checking out bank statement online. Then found a refund for the last day? Finally got the receipt on the last day in our hand before getting out.
The park is rustic, nice, with wide spots, but heavy graveled roads and rough pull throughs. Trees are aplenty.
Filling a stainless steel bucket, found the potable water in the park is yellow, and I mean really yellow! It smelled like 'swamp' water. Stunk up our Berkey upper chamber filter bay. Make sure you have a good filter and I would recommend drinking bottle water, even if filtering it.
Everything was good but the flakey park manager and the 'swamp' water.
We will not be back to this RV park.

Large, shaded sites with beautiful, mature trees. Dog friendly park, with a fenced doggy play area. Unfortunately, due to the large, loose gravel roads, it is very difficult to walk around (or bike), and terrible for the dogs, so you end up walking on people's grass, which is not ideal. If you like to walk (or jog), take the dirt road next to the park down through the gate and walk around the lake (natural preserve open to public)- About a mile or two with lovely natural vistas. The staff was great, friendly and efficient. The park is in a very remote locale (no stores, restaurants, etc nearby), so if you need something from the grocery store, it's a 20 minute drive. Handy location if you want to be half-way between Orlando and the beach, (45 minutes to each, in either direction). The park is mostly quiet and large, with minimal road noise. (They would be wise to enforce the 'no arrivals after 10pm rule,' as we were awoken twice in the night by loud late arrivals, one at 2:00am!) The internet was not good bring your mifi or hotspot. All in all not a bad park if you like to be away from the crowds. My best advice to the owners: investing in some landscaping would be well worth it: A little privacy between sites would be wonderful, as well as having something nice to look at besides rigs and buildings. It may be the reason this park is at half-capacity while all the others are booked full. The price per night is also on the high side ($80), another possible reason they are not full. That said, it was a pleasant stay, and I would stay here again.

For my visit to Orlando, I stayed in Christmas RV Park, in the little town of Christmas just east of Orlando. As you might expect, all the lanes and buildings have names taken from American Christmas mythology. I'm parked between Prancer and Vixen lanes. Kind of a schmaltzy kitsch, if I'm not out of line in using yiddish slang for the holiday.
The staff was friendly when they were there, but the office was closed a lot when I thought it should be open. This was especially concerning since I was expecting mail.
As a campground Christmas RV was quite satisfactory, not outstanding and a little pricy (as are all things Florida in the wintertime), but it was reasonably spacious and fairly quiet.
There is a nice nature trail behind the park, very worthwhile. Didn't see any gators, but I'm told they're there.
