It should be noted that this facility is under new ownership, as evidenced by the total disorganized appearance and functionality of the main office. We arrived when it was pouring rain. When she and another employee came back, the site was located and they notified me that I was "not going to like this site". I asked, if room wasn't available, that we could cancel our reservations. They both said that this would not be possible and found another site...which turned out not a river view site, and was one camper away from the overflowing dumpsters. Since it was late, and pouring rain, we planned to return to the office the next morning to notify them that the site wasn't what we had paid for. We also planned to remind them of our Good Sam discount that hadn't been applied to our bill. The site was totally mud puddles, and there were hundreds of white cigarette butts in the fire ring. One of us went to take a shower, which was dirty and had long hairs everywhere. The next morning, the sight of everything was enough to make us cry...and we had another night to stay, according to our reservations. We pulled out of the site and left, immediately, without stopping at the office. The next day, just after our originally scheduled check out time, we received a phone call notifying us that we were late for checkout and needed to report to the office for checkout. Our camper had been in a site that was totally visible by the main office, and they didn't notice that we had left a full day early. This very disorganized campground sounds like it has many great activities for its campers, but unfortunately we didn't stick around to see a one of them.

First time here. Didn't expect much, based on the Good Sam Ratings, but was pleasantly surprised. Great family camping. LOTS of activities for the kids. Pool slide was one of the best. I appreciated the hot tub in the "adult-only" zone. In addition, they have a Lazy river that loops around the campground. Lots of people tubing. Takes about an hour to float the whole way. At the end is a great swimming hole with rope swing and natural water slide. Bathrooms were clean. Sites were also cleaned... Read More

I'll go back for sure, and probably for more than a weekend next time.
