Stayed 1 nite to see Glacier National Park. Campground is very close to St. Mary's entrance. Young girl in the office was so nice. Told us about the cafe there in the campground so we ate there and it was great. About $45 with Good Sam"s discount. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was pleasant at checkin. Campsites are on top of a hill overlooking the direction of Glacier NP. View was okay, but the elevation meant the winds (always constant and always strong) were annoying and detracted significantly from what should have been a pleasant experience. Campsite was a pull through but very small and because of the topography not very level. Steep entry and exit from the site. I wasn't sure the pickup wasn't going to hit the 5er when disconnecting. Campsite was a pull through but very small and because of the topography not very level. Steep entry and exit from the site. I wasn't sure the pickup wasn't going to hit the 5er when disconnecting. When pulling forward (downhill) to separate from the trailer, the rear of the pickup raised up and the sides didn't clear the trailer by much. Did not enjoy staying here. We DID enjoy the Cafe on property. Good food and the wife feel in love with the Huckleberry flavored hot chocolate. Doesn't say much for the RV park, though, when the cafe is your best amenity. Oh, and be careful not to step in the horse manure when reaching for your pet's droppings. Seems a little futile to pick up dog poop when there's so much livestock manure present. Would NOT stay here again.

Caution staying here. We stayed one night and arrived late. We filled out the after hours payment envelop and more cash in since we didn't have the exact change and pushed it into the slot in the door per after hours directions. I went to the office in the morning to see if we could get change back. The clerk said that she did not find any envelops with our info. I stopped back in a little later to see if they found the envelop, which the clerk said she did not. She said she believed me and gave... Read More

I still felt like something was not right. We ended up having to use their laundry facilities because of our kid getting sick. So, I checked again before we left and she said they still did not find it. So, I went ahead and paid again. I highly recommend if you stay here to not leave any money overnight and pay the clerk in person.

This was our 6th year staying here but only 2nd with a travel trailer. 2nd consecutive year our reservation was incorrect. This year I reserved 2 sites together got there and they showed 2 booked, paid for 2, but only assigned 1 site. Went back to the office before setting up to see if we could change to be side by side with the open site, was told no it was not available. After talking to the owner she called is back 4 hours after arriving at the park to say we could move to the site we asked... Read More

Went back to the office before setting up to see if we could change to be side by side with the open site, was told no it was not available. After talking to the owner she called is back 4 hours after arriving at the park to say we could move to the site we asked about. It was 93 degrees and we had to setup already for the refrigerator. We did not move at that point we we're headed out to Glacier. The past 6 years the only upgrade/updates have been to the office, nothing to the sites, bathrooms etc. This year the cattle in the Campground were every day all day and we had never experienced that before. Their poop was all over the one site and we had to rake and fill with dirt for 9 different piles. We saw the cows going thru items on picinc tables etc and nothing was ever said about them. Other campers expressed their disappointment not expecting to pay for a camp site close to $50/nite to have free range cattle thru it. No Campground staff ever came around checking etc. After recommending we stay there with our friends and to see how disappointed they were we will not return again. It was their error on the site assignments and made no offer to compensate when we stayed for 2 nites. The Campground was not full either day. Very disappointed....

Just be aware... the sites by the office are so small you can't open your awnings. And if you have any slides at all your neighbors won't be able to open their door. Very disappointing. Left early and " no refunds allowed for any reason".

Wonderful stay. Enjoyed the on site restaurant, delicious huckleberry ice cream! Thought it a bit ironic we were reminded to pick up after our dog but there was a lot of horse manure to dodge! Really nice staff.

Total nightmare. Enormously loud club directly across the st that plays music until after 2am. You can hear each and every lyric and beat. Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Asked for a refund based on a complete inability to sleep and them not having informed us of this impossibly bad situation. Was laughed at.

There are horses here and their manure at random places on the property including our rv space. Women's restrooms horrid, mildewed, decrepit, dirty. No paper towels, no shower mats so slippery and gross. Employees are nice

The staff is friendly enough, but they seemed disorganized, trying first to place us in a full hook-up space when we asked for electric & water only. The spaces are small and very close together. We had to run our lines under the coach because the hook-ups were on the wrong side for a back-in. The park was overflowing on a Monday night, and it was noisy. We were so close to our neighbors, we could smell his cigar smoke. There are few trees, so shade was an issue because we didn't have enough space... Read More

At $69 per night, we don't feel this was a cost-efficient option.

Nice campground close to the east entrance to Glacier Natl Park and a short drive to Waterton Lakes NP in Canada. Wifi service is spotty and slow

This is an older park but being maintained. We stayed in a full hook up space with a lovely view. The space was narrow with the tree so close we were unable to open our awning and barely our door. The space was not very level and so it took time to level our trailer. The laundry room was always busy during our week+ stay unless you wanted to do laundry in the early morning or late at night (it was open 24 hours so you could spend your night doing laundry). The bathroom/shower was old but clean.... Read More

The bathroom/shower was old but clean. Considering that maintenance must be done early or during the season because of weather the roads were in fairly good condition. Unfortunately, we were never able to eat at their restaurant as it was always busy and they don't take reservations. It is a very convenient location for visiting Glacier Nat. Park and we would stay here again.
