This is one of the nicest places we have camped at. The staff was accommodating and the campers were welcoming. It is populated by a large permanent party but they were great. The social programs that helped newbies to mingle were terrific. We booked two holidays next year already and we live 4 hours away! We loved this place.

We actually stayed during the summer. We came here because the website for the campground had beautiful pictures and it was just a few hours away from home. We were not impressed with the beach at all and the restrooms are nasty(not very clean-cobwebs hanging-doesn't look like the cleaners if there are any do anything but empty the trash cans). I had to give it a one since there is not a zero on here. The beach is very small and not clean. The store has items that are well over priced. Appears that the items are bought from Walmart or another local store and marked up terribly. I have no idea how the Good Sam rating for this campground is so high-do they even go visit these campgrounds? The seasonal campers are wonderful and very friendly. They were the best part of our stay.

The best thing I can say about this campground is the Staff that works in the store...very helpful and polite! As far as the campground itself, not kept up with and very outdated. Some of the out buildings have rotten wood on them and are in need of repairs. The wooden fence pieces that outline the entrance and are inside the park are fallen down or missing. The beach area is in great need of a clean up. There are no 50amp service sites available nor is there wifi. The bathrooms are dirty-cobwebs and dirt in the corners...only way to take a shower is with the hot water running and keep in mind there is no water pressure. The park is not handicap friendly ramps even to the restroom.
