We overnighted in a 40' motorhome towing. Very friendly staff and other campers. Easy to get to off I80. The entire camping area was covered in tiny pebbles but our site was perfectly level. There were a few trees between sites. Sites were very narrow and barely long enough to accommodate us. It was tricky to pull out if towing a car. I gave it a 4 because of the friendliness and ease of it's location, not sites. They had slow Internet and cable. Our satellite came in easily.

Convenient and easy to get to. Clean. The entire park is gravel with little strips of grass around the edges. The dog walk is concrete. We did not use the pool, restrooms or laundry. The staff was very friendly.

Very nice park with excellent service. Staff is awesome and delightful to work with, more like family. Site was level and comfortable with full hookups. WIFI worked better than most. Quiet and restful. Spent two nights here with a day trip to Royal Peacock Opel Mine. All in all a very nice place to stay. Flat rate of $18.00(off season) a night plus tax. Will Stay here again. Trees and pleasant surroundings.

Spent two nights here on our way home. Entry and registration were easy and the hosts very friendly. Gave us a few ideas on what to see and do in the Winnemucca area. Site was gravel and dirt with a few scattered trees - about what would be expected for a high desert location. Each site had a picnic bench - something we always appreciate. Utilities and hook-ups were all great and lots of channels available on the cable TV. Great location near the freeway and just east of downtown. Park was about... Read More

Park was about 2/3's full but the bathrooms were not well kept up. Brochure when we checked in said that they were serviced daily - but that wasn't frequent enough. Bathrooms were out of TP both mornings and floors and countertops were pretty rough. Park had a nice pool that was great for a hot afternoon. Ice cream selection in the office was awesome as well.

We had stayed here before so we knew we liked this park. We called ahead and reserved a spot. 15 minutes later our truck broke down on I80. We called Good Sam, gave all details and told them we were going to this park and they had the truck tow us directly. I called the park to let them know what happened and they held a spot where the towtruck could drop us. When we arrived they took the rig immediately and parked it. They park personell were very helpful and some of the nicest people we've met. The tow driver said they were the nicest people to deal with and the repair shop raved about the owners. Thats a heckuva reputation when the locals rave. The swimming pool was a welcome relief from the monotony of waitng on our truck. 67 TV channels with music helped too. Channel 71.16 seems to be boomer radio. It was too hot to take advantage of the little putting green and horseshoe pits. The showers were nice and the whole place was very clean. There is also a well stocked parts store inside. The owners seem eager to help people with issues.

We stayed here one night while passing thought town. Clean park, all gravel but not dusty. Lots of bugs, keep the doors shut! A little tight for parking length, we are about 43 feet. Definitely no room to park tow vehicle directly behind but not a problem to find parking. Close to downtown activities.

The guy at the front desk was friendly. The spaces were level. Getting in and out was very easy. The shower house was clean. This was an excellent stop after a long day of driving through the Oregon desert. The park was very clean. You could hear some highway noise, but this is the desert and noises travel far. Inside the RV we had total quiet. The spaces are sized nicely. We had plenty of room to open our awning (with room to spare) even with the neighbors slides open. We plan to make this a regular... Rolled in late in the evening. Called ahead to let them know we would be late arriving and the owner stayed up to meet us when we arrived to make sure we got in alright. Well kept park with the grass freshly mowed, no weeds and clean gravel drives. Bathrooms were clean although a bit old and showing their age. Nice park and will stay here again on our next trip back out this way.

We RV in a 40' MH w/tow, we are always a little apprehensive when pulling into an unfamiliar park. This park was a pleasant surprise! The roads were about as wide as can be expected in an RV park, but spaces are a little narrow. Except for the grass, tent areas located around the outer edges of the park, the whole park is gravel, but that is a positive in their dry climate. The last three parks had gravel, scrub grass, and weeds for the spaces. The gravel made walking and parking easy, and... Read More

The gravel made walking and parking easy, and there was not a weed anywhere to be found! I noticed as I walked the dogs because the last park had so many stickers and goat heads in their grass that I had to search for a clear path when walking the dogs. The wifi and cable was also as good as we've had at any park, and we fulltime it. The owners were very helpful and escorted everyone to their sites, etc. We stayed a week in late September and noticed the park tended to fill up each night with one-nighters traveling I-80. I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment! The price was very reasonable at $28 a night. While not a "resort" park, I felt obligated to give the park a solid rating because I would have zero problem staying here again when we come this way, which we will next year. This is just a park that makes you feel very comfortable when staying there.

This is not the highest rated RV park, but the owners that run it are wonderful people. The only reason the restrooms are rated lower is because they are old, but they are very clean and taken care of. The appeal is that they are gravel, not much lawn. We were in an accident just west of Winnemucca, where the side of the motorhome was wrecked and they bent over backwards to help us. They gave us a break on our stay and they have an RV repair person that works for them. He was able to patch... Read More
