Pros -- looked great, some shady spots, nice people work here clean bathrooms Cons-- we reserved a full hookup and tried 3 different spots. They recently added a new row but the water and electric are in one side and the sewer on the other of many of the sites. We have a small rug and our sewer line can't run far -- our spot was in a bit of a lean. They could have graded the gravel level. We cannot level our RV -- we came because of the pool but it is defunct due to the fact they are replacing it but this doesn't say on the site. -- we were told we could take the paddle boats but they are almost under water and unusable -- omg no one said anything about THE TRAINS. Sounds like you are on the tracks and run more than once an hour. Ugh.

The place is rundown, very old. Maintanence done when need be, Grass mowed when he had time. The Manager/owner is a very rude. He does not know how to talk to people, he chases people down on a golf cart, will not allow you to speak, what he says goes. Goose droppings everywhere, I would never stay here again.

We will never stay at this RV Park again. We have never had such a rude manager/owner talk to us the way he did. The last night we stayed, he came banging on our door. We opened the door and he started screaming at us because he did not like the way we parked our Jeep. Due to all the rain and no gravel on the edge of the narrow parking spot, he did not like how we backed up our Jeep to plug in my husband's power wheelchair on the wheelchair lift behind our Jeep. He screamed that we were ruining his campground by parking on the grass. The tires were just on the edge of the grass where the gravel was at one time and had grass growing through the gravel that was left. We could not get a word in. He screamed at us all the way back to his golf cart and then went banging on the door of the RV ahead of us. After he left, those people came out to unhook their setup and towing vehicle. We went over to talk to them. The manager/owner said their towed vehicle was on the grass and they had to move it. Their towed vehicle was also on gravel that had grass growing though the thin layer of gravel. They said they were told the pull-thru site was large enough that they would not have to unhook, which turned out to not be the case, so they did have to unhook. The next morning we talked to our neighbors who were sitting around a fire when the manager/owner was screaming at us. They heard everything and could not believe that he would talk to a customer like that. When we made our reservation by phone the day before we got there, we were told they did not have any 30 amp sites left with sewer hookup, so we had to pay extra for the 50 amp with sewer hookup. When we got there, and during our stay at the RV park, it was less than 1/3 full with plenty of 30 amp with sewer hookups available. If we hadn't reserved it for the 4 nights, we would have gone someplace else. We would not recommend this RV Park to anyone.

This campground needs to have it's "Good Sam" approval rating removed. The owners are very very moody. If you accidentally cross them get ready to be verbally abused to the point of humiliation. This is not conducive to a Good Sam backed camp ground. I am surprised they are even still a Good Sam rated campground based on the way they treat their customers. I have to question if Good Sam even reads these reviews.

Could hear train whistles nearby. No big deal with the air conditioner on. Pool looked great once repairs are done. We would stay again. Convenient access to Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.

Older, dated campground in need of maintence. Uncut grass, shrubs, pool not useable...probably not for a long while. Pond area not useable, obsolete. The office is dusty, dingy and a cat greets you laying on the counter. Ok, for quick overnite, otherwise pass it by!

Rudest management ever! I pulled in to ask questions and it was far to much for them to answer any questions. The website showed a waterway which i didn't see. I asked where the shower houses were and he literally pointed west. I asked about cabins which he... actually put down and said they literally have nothing in them but beds. But he couldn't show me. I then just pulled in to see if i could see the campground and 2 minutes later a man pulled up and told me that i was off the blacktop touching the gravel which is for registered guests only. I explained I was just trying to figure out the campground before i stayed. At this point he rudely began yelling at me! I would never stay here! The pictures are extremely misleading and the management was atrocious. I have stayed in a ton of good Sam parks but was disappointed and appalled by this properties behavior. First of all offer a map! Second never speak to a camper in that manner!

Stayed here 8/6-8/9/2016. PROS: the campsite is well maintained and the owners seem to be nice. Plenty of room to navigate with my 30' bumper pull. Pool is clean and seemed nice (although didn't actually use it). They have a decent playground for the kids, but it could stand to have the poison ivy (or oak?) cleared from the edges. Also, the playground equipment needs to be repaired (the tire swing is just about to fall). CONS: LOUD!!! Holy frijole this place is loud! This campsite is about 50' (if that) from the train tracks and the trains run ALL hours of the day AND NIGHT. Lots of crossings nearby too and the trains do not hesitate to lay on that whistle, regardless of the hour. On the other side, the campsite is about 200' from I-75. Lots of road noise from there. I'm pretty much deaf and sleeping was not happening at this campsite. This is not the campsite to come for peace and quiet. This place is seriously loud! Also, was extremely irritated that they charge my friends to come visit me. Had an old military buddy that lives in the area and stopped by with his family one day for a few hours. He drove into the campsite to my camper only to have the owner rushing up wanting him to come register before entering the campsite. Found out later that the campsite charges $4 per head for visitors. Never seen or heard of such nonsense and was not the least impressed. This may be their rule and may even be tucked into one of their notices, but I had no idea. In my opinion (others may vary), but the fire pits are a danger. They are sunken into the ground and there is nothing around them to keep someone from stepping off into one. Massive tripping hazard as far as I'm concerned. Wish I could rate this place better, but not a place I would ever come back to because of the noise alone. Lastly, no clue how Good Sam can give this place such high ratings in view of the horrible ratings I see here. Good thing I'm not paying dues to Good Sam!

Blah personality host. It appears they treat u as if they are doing you a favor by letting you stay here.Gave us a crappy site ...uneven, hookups on wrong side, no sewer hookup. 30 amp breaker blew just using the air conditioner. Noisy from highway and trains. No cable tv or wifi. Too expensive for what u get 27.50 with good Sam. Dump station is hard to get close to.. You have to use a long hose. Restrooms clean but some are difficult to use ...hard to figure out which is hot and cold in showers. One restroom in ladies room out of order. Glad we were here only one night. Camped here in a travel trailer.

The gallery of pictures gives the appearance of moderate space and a friendly atmosphere. Wrong on both counts. It is very crowded and noisey. The owner of the site was extremely rude and would not answer questions or offer assistance. He simply told us to LEAVE when we were looking around at some of the sites in the campground. We'll NEVER recommend this campground to anyone!

Overall the campground was beautiful, if you don't mind camping between an interstate and a major train track. The campground was very noisy never a down time due to sitting directly on I75 interstate. We could see the cars on the highway from the windows of our camper. Then every hour or so a train would go by day and night. It was so loud you could not really relax outside. Also it had rained about 2 inches before we got there and the grounds manager would not allow carpets laid out by our doors so we would not track mud into the camper. He said it would kill his grass. We will not be back to this campground it is way to noisy
