RUNNERS. We ran around the outer perimeter of the campground. One loop is a mile with the entire run either up or down hill. The road outside has small shoulders and a fair amount of traffic. There are lots of great runs in Arcadia Park. The upper campground is moderately packed, with few trees, and doesn't have a good view of the ocean. The lower campground is better, especially along the water. Sites are long and roads wide. The staff, K and K, were very helpful. We only stayed the night and didn't use the restrooms or facilities.

Stayed there for ten days. Overall it was "ok". The roads need maintenance (gravel), pool was in need of repair (even though it was closed major repair work needed to be done), a lot of the sites were hilly, WiFi was terrible - kept loosing it but you could pay an additional charge for a better signal, an additional charge per day ($4) for stays under 30 days, high site fees (in season $82 off season $50). The "resort" name should be removed from their title. We visited two other campgrounds in area and they were a lot better but we could not make reservations with them before hand - filled up. Mt. Dessert was a last resort.
