Stayed one night in July 2021. Park in very good condition. Nice size playground for the children. A couple of fenced areas for dogs. Site was nice and level with good grass area between sites. Very nice mature trees. Enjoyed our stay.

Their campsites are way to close together. On their buddy system, you can almost jump one door to the other. All the sites are so close that the loud pipes echo throughout the campground not making it very relaxing. The evening staff didn’t seem to know what was going on unless you were only there to check in. This part they can’t help, but someone was erratically driving while clearly on drugs. This is a campground clearly for the money, not for relaxation.
They do have a trail to the river that was pretty. A nice big field on the way to let your pets run freely was also very nice.

This is a very nice campground. The roads are paved and the spots were nice and level. The dog parks were great and there were plenty of areas to walk. This place is expensive and I'm not sure it was worth all that but it was a very nice option. We enjoyed seeing the local attractions.

Appeal Rating We’ve been staying at this campground for years. It’s always been one of our favorites. Imagine our surprise when the nightly rate almost doubled. The new rates are just over $100 per night with the discount, definitely not worth it. We were told at check in that the rate increase was because they had to compete with the KOA next door. The new Pull-through spaces that were added this year are way too small for the big rigs. They put boulders on each corner of the spaces. Trying to pull in between the trees and boulders makes it very hard to pull in and out of the spaces. Be sure to use a spotter. The WiFi is awful and the new addition didn’t have cable hookup. The antenna worked fine.
We will miss staying here, it’s time to look for another campground in Billings.

Appeal Rating What else is there to say? Really, just how many campgrounds have flowers at their dump station? The only negative I could come up with is that the electric pedestal is the shortest I've ever seen. Had to get down on one knee to plug in. Looked pretty old too, but the electricity was a strong 117 volts despite the park being almost completely full. The entire camp was very well kept and swept. No trash, no dilapidated picnic tables, everything looked great. Staff was friendly and efficient. There is even an air station to top off the pressure in your tires on your way out. Haven't seen that anywhere else.

Appeal Rating We stayed for 2 nights. The Park is quiet, well maintained, with friendly and accommodating owners. Our 2 Boston Terriers enjoyed playing in the grassy, tree shaded, dog run. The full hook up sites are tree shaded and very wide. All sites are pull through. We look forward to staying here when we're in Billings in the future.

Appeal Rating Ok place to stay if you are a sardine. The sites were double stacked and very close. We were unable to use our outdoor kitchen and awnings. There was no room to sit outside or even use the picnic table. Will not stay here again. Great bathrooms though.

Sites were too close together, each site is designed for side by side setup making one rig main entrance directed towards the other rigs wall or slide out. The distance and setup worry me with a possibility of hitting my head on the other rigs bedroom slideout . The drive in and out was very easy. Dump station was well placed along with easy acquisition of propane. The employees were extremely nice. The access trail for the river was a very nice addition.

Appeal Rating Do not camp here. Wifi is useless. No more than 5 feet between campers, face to face. Picnic tables behind camper. The worst we have stayed at from Key West to Spokane. If there was a 0 I would have given it a 0. Make sure you have lots of extensions for everything!!!

This campground should have a zero rating. My husband and I thought with the Good Sam rating it would be a nice place to stay, but it's not. It had rained during the day and we pulled in about dusk. The site we were assigned was flooded, the electric hookup was on the ground and under water! The people were rude and we did not get our Good Sam discount. I advise all campers not to stay at this campground.

Appeal Rating This place has really gone downhill. Evidently there is a cash flow problem as the rates have dramatically increased for extended stays. Most entertaining listening to the owner lady yelling at an occupant for the additional $45.00 after they paid for the site. Very poor snow removal all winter. Space sizes are 12 ft x 60 ft so you are in your neighbor's space with the slides out. No body picks up after their dogs. Only game in town for the winter if you have a big rig or pets.

Our recent stay at Yellowstone River RV Park was not a pleasant experience!! Reservations were made nearly 4 months ahead of stay. Type and size of RV with desired hookup, etc. Upon intrance to park it looked very nice, but....spaces left much to be desired! Too close to other RVers(couldn't extend awning), maybe 6 feet between units. Rate almost double that of much nicer parks! Dry camping would have been better! Never again! Good Sam should drop them!!

We were booked to stay at this campground for two nights but when we arrived and got our site # we looked at it and knew we would not fit. The sites are extremely small. If I could give a zero star rating for site size I would have. We have a 29' ft 5th wheel with three slides and our door faced the other rv's door. We would've had to step over their steps to get past. There would have been maybe a foot between RV's on the other side. They offered us another site that was no better so we asked for a refund. She gave us the refund but was obviously not happy with us. I can't comment on facilities etc because we left before looking at anything else.

Appeal Rating We were extremely disappointed in this RV Park. The park was very cramped. We had to park our RV unit with the entrance facing the gravel and also facing the entrance to our neighbor. The 4 feet of grass was on the back side of the pad with didn't do any good because you don't walk there. The swimming pool was very cold and the kids could not swim in it. We choice this RV site because it had a pool and it was very hot outside. We could not enjoy the pool. The price was about $73 US which was close to $100 Canadian. It was the most expensive RV park in our 3 month cross Canada and US trip. My wife and I definitely don't recommend this park because of the tight quarters, pool and price. Very over rated in our opinion.

Was pretty expensive for a so so place. Used the internet and got hacked for $811. Called them about it to tell them they had a problem and they really didn't seam to care about protecting customers info. I would not even give them a star, but you have to push a star to add this to the review.

Appeal Rating At almost $70 a night I wished I had stayed in a cheap hotel. The sites are so jammed in together that you literally have to be careful of hitting slideouts. The cable does not work. It did have decent wifi so I could write this review. We stayed in a 43' motorhome.

Appeal Rating I believe the camping spots were over priced. the camping sites were to tight. when asked a question about other camp sites the staff could not give you an answer. it appeared as if they had no clue as to who was coming in and where they would put them.

Appeal Rating Wow, this was a surprise for a Good Sam Campground. We stayed at numerous member campgrounds during our trip from Florida to the Canadian Rocky Mountains and this campground was the worst of any we experienced. The cost for one night was $72, the staff was rude, the sites were cramped together, we could not use the picnic table, and the path to the river was far and then non-existent (they no longer had time to keep it maintained).
The internet had a very poor connection and when we inquired about it their comment was "oh well, we can reset it but it won't make any difference". They got their money and didn't care about your stay. The camp had too many sites for the facilities offered, a staff that showed no interest in being pleasant, and we felt like we made a big mistake staying here. This park does not deserve a good rating and should not be a Good Sam Park.

Seeing the high rating, I was overwhelmed when we arrived and found that the sites were cramped to the point that we did not have enough space to open the awning and had to jockey to get enough room to open the slide-out. There was no grass at any space and the picnic tables were too close to units to be of any use. The bathrooms and showers were equally cramped and only average in cleanliness. At 72 dollars for a one night stay, this park was the worst we encountered on our cross-country trip.
On a more positive note, this park was one of two that we stayed with a fenced-in area for dogs to run free. One dog area was too close to a cabin which was problematic as a young child insisted on pestering the dogs. The other area was large and away from other sites but had a low fence and a gate without a latch.

Nothing at all what it looks like from road at entrance other than the shade trees. Pull through sites WAAAAY too small. Very awkward for neighbor sharing the pull through site. No room to even extend awning. Door of neighbor faces your own door. Once neighbor extended his slide out, we had 3 ft walkway between us...maybe less. Sewer too far from my unit. Hose would not reach. No place for picnic table even though they had them placed nearby. No fire pits. Too many long term renters making themselves at home. Will never stay here again. Disappointed this is a Good Sam Park. For price, not worth it.
