We have been visiting Shadowbrook camp ground for years and NEVER leave disappointed!! There are plenty of activities for the kids and adults . Beautiful pool, rec room with tv,pool table, and table tennis an arcade, general store and pond for paddle boating or fishing. The bathrooms and grounds are very very well kept!! Not to mention the owners they are very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The village of Cooperstown is just mins away with tons of things to do there . I highly recommend Shadowbrook for good family vacation .

When booking we got the last site because they were having their annual Halloween party (park closes before end of October) and it gets busy. We were in transit and staying one night so did not think anymore about it. The staff was helpful and we had a nice, small wooded site. If you are looking for a family-oriented experience, we highly recommend the annual Halloween event. Nearly everyone, except for us, dressed in costumes, and there were more decorations than we see on most houses. People staying there set up a haunted house. There was a trick or treat event for kids, and hay rides. Although we were not into the event, the people were very polite, and we were invited to a seafood boil at an adjacent site. A few folks stayed up and were a little noisy until the wee hours, but the vibe was generally polite, quiet and happy. Most of the folks attending were from the region. The park is close to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, and Sharon Springs, somewhat of an eclectic town where the folks from the television show Beekman Boys have a store. We would stay again if in the area.

We stayed 5 nights in a 43 foot Motor Home. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The roads were good, tree height was good, sites were level. The electric was strong and water was good. No sewer but pump out was available and on time when requested. Facilities for kids, the pool was great and it was a nice restful camp. We will stay again when we are in the neighborhood.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights and never ran out of things to do at the campground or in the area. The drive to the village of Cooperstown (9 or 10 miles) was beautiful - right along a lake. The campground itself was clean, spacious and well run by the owners. The kids loved the heated pool, arcade and fishing. Quiet time was enforced, which was great since we have young children. We happened to be traveling with our trailer, but they also had some cabins and other rental units. I did not get the chance to look inside, but the outside of the rentals were well kept. We will definitely be staying at this campground again.
